I'm done with this team. They couldn't stop a wet paper bag. Their Run D is the worst that I've ever seen.

The Hawks tackle best when one of them falls down in front of the ball carrier & slows them down just enough to be short of a first down. A tactic called 'retreat obstacle tackling.'
It's the defensive coordinator fault! Why is Darrell Taylor on the field on short yardage situations and goal line situations? The Steelers ran right at him on got a first down and then later got a rushing TD running at him. D.T. is really bad against the run, yet the coaches have him on the field on obvious running situations. Also why 5 DBs on 4th and 1 yard situations (With D.T. also on the field)? Match the personnel to the situation at least a little...please!

Nah, the DBs just didn't exececute
Easy play call situation for opposing teams on short yardage...run at the side of the field at the undersized DE and DB that should be a LB for the situation. Size matters vs the run.

Even with 8 in the box they sucked balls, pretty sure they could've put all 11 in the box and the result would've been the same
Again it comes down to personnel. If our 8 in the box were a bigger sized DE (that is not horrible against the run, like D.T.) and a LB instead of a 3rd safety, then we would have a better chance of stopping the run on the short yardage situations.

Let us not forget simple, pop-warner technique. Every Seahawk out there is tackling up around the shoulders. Whatever happened to putting your head/body across the ball carrier and hitting low? Pretty basic shit.
I would love to go back to having a Red Bryant playing LDE at a massive 6'5" 325 lbs, 3-tech Tony McDaniel 6-6 305 lbs, 1-tech Brandon Mebane 6'1" 310 lbs, and our LEO Chris Clemons 6'3" 255 lbs. That was a proper run stopping starting defensive line and it's the Red Bryant type that we need if for this lame 3-4 defense to be much better against the run.

if we still had a second rounder T'vondre Sweat is your man
And vice versa. But the Seahawks quit using it after 1.5 games of dominating with it.

This game really reminded me of the first several games of last year when teams who weren't particularly good at running the ball suddenly became master of the ground and pound when they faced this defense, somehow it feels like Pete and Clint Hurt were more scared of getting burned by George Pickens than Harris and Warren steamrolling them, thus why it took them awhile to come out of that 2 high shell
