I can already hear Me3 spewing his BS at his Stealers introductory press conference. "The tradition," "the city," "coach Tomlin," and of course name dropping lots of past and present Stealers players. 🤮

Remember when Russ was out against the Steelers and went out pregame to go through his whole workout by himself?

Mayfield may end up resigning with the Bucs. Unless they trade up, they're sitting at #26 overall and unlikely to nab one of the top QB's. At the very least, he'd be a good bridge if they did draft a QB.
It looks like the obvious move, but the OC he did well with has gone. If they spend a lot of money that would pretty much take them out of the rookie QB stakes. (Mayfield would probably be upset if his team used their top pick on his replacement). If the Buccaneers decide to compete for a rookie QB instead I don't know where Mayfield goes.

The Giants are in a situation much like the Patriots, the major difference being that they do not have a new HC looking to put his signature on it by drafting a QB. Daniel Jones looked awful last season, and their backup, Tyrod Taylor, didn't play a lot better.

There's talk that the Giants are 'done' with Daniel Jones, but not unlike Russell, it's going to be expensive for them to move on as just last season, they signed him to a 4 year, $160M contract with a bunch of guaranteed money, so who knows.

Being that they would need to move on by the start of the league year on Monday, they would have jettisoned him but didn’t.

Coaches generally want their bridge qb1 vets to need minimum coaching and not to be pushing their celebrity.

Will Ciara bring her neon lights to Pittsburg? Or, she will stay put in Rancho Santa Fe and jet to Wilson's road games?

I wonder if he'll purchase a 20 bathroom mansion for the one season he's in Pittsburgh. He should have no trouble reselling that sucker in a market like Pittsburgh, PA.

I know I'm probably the only one on here lol but after the Denver situation I'm hoping he plays well and Payton crashes.

They're locked into a $35.5M guarantee for Jones in 2024 but they can move on after that without any significant issue. Their best plan is to get what they can out of Jones as their starter for 2024 and then make a decision. Maybe he could be worth $30.5M in 2025 (???). If not then cut him. Drafting a QB at #6 or signing another starter would pretty much be cutting their own legs from under themselves, but it's their choice. Having a solid but non-challenging back-up QB behind Jones would be my plan. Wilson doesn't fit.

If you bet 10 on the Steelers, you’d win 14. It’s the most logical outcome as any other bridge team will have their qbotf awaiting; Russ knows it’s only a matter of time before they pull him, win or lose.

Would be the 4th best qb in that div and would have to play in the cold. I just cant see it although maybe he thinks being on a legacy team helps his legacy with the hof chances all but gone. His media team already stirring the pot to get other franchises interested is my guess.
