But then Kubiak called a pass play on third down, and it ricocheted off our player and a 49'er caught it with only one foot down. Kubiak has been doing this all year, and he's great, and I know he has a surrealistic plan that only he understands, but I don't get some of these pass plays. McDonald, as a conservative defensive guy, must be scratching his head. But I think that yin/yang offense/defense strategy somehow is working, and in a very exciting way. Most importantly, both he and Kubiak keep tweaking things and, other than the 'Colts to Rams' transition, it's always been an improvement.
