If the Seahawks sell for 20 Billion, every teams value just went up.

As a business owner of Walmart, I want the next competitive store to sell for 100 trillion. Because when I sell, I bank.

That being said, I hope the Seahawks don't sell for 5 years... because that's championships in the pocket.

That being said, if you were a Billionaire, would you let some broke millionaires (Players and refs) determine your financial future? Probably not.

I suppose five years from now would be preferable from a continuity perspective, but that doesn't seem likely. I think the best we can hope for is that whenever the sale happens the new owners continue to let the football people do their thing.

Don't like either option TBH, but it's not my (or our) decision. It's kind of baked into Paul's will.

There was a fair amount of speculating that the other owners did, in fact, prefer that the Seahawks win last season's Super Bowl, for this very reason.

Whether that went so far as to affect the outcome of games, is another level of conspiracy, but is one that has been mentioned.
