Not watching your team play? Hmmmmm
You need to look at what he said closely....

He said "not watching the team LIVE".

Meaning he'll look at a replay of the game or highlights.

It's fine if it helps him keep what's remaining of his sanity. lol

Aaaaah, ok. May bad. It's just so tough to NOT find out what happens if you're watching on delay.

Yeah but I do it this way : I look at the final score, curse the team if it's a loss or cheer the team if it's a win, then decide whether to watch the game mainly for specific players (Darnold, for example) if it's a loss to see how he did.

If it's a win, I watch the entire re-broadcast.

The best part about watching it as a replay is that you can skip over the abortion that was the Defense's performance and go right back to the next offensive possession.

(of course I will only watch as far as the 99-yard 4th TD drive that should've been the game-winning drive as I didn't need to see the choke job our D had done all game long)

Hey, as long as you don't get spoilers, heck yeah. I do that with baseball, often. Turn off the phone, or on vibrate, face it down on the table, etc. Then can watch a nice condensed version of the baseball game. I just have so many friends and family that blow up my phone, it was a major challenge :ROFLMAO:
