Was it too easy?

Last time the Seahawks delivered an entertaining, edge of your seat Super Bowl, it was the most heartbreaking loss imaginable. I'll take the one-sided love letter to corner blitzes, special teams, and patient RB play.
Again I’m not saying I wasn’t entertained. I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE HARDER.

We are so great that it seemed easy… I am not disappointed or underwhelmed or any thing like that. I am stoked and amazed we are better than I ever imagined and the rest of the NFL is trailing in the distance….

My post was not that complicated. People are predispositioned to think any attitude they don’t agree with is just wrong. Well you’re wrong twice

Perhaps some of the rather subdued reactions are due to the fact that it wasn't a very exciting game. There wasn't a touchdown scored in the first 3 quarters.

As far as my own emotions goes, they weren't of euphoria as they would have been had we won the game on the last play. Rather, similar to what they were when we won SB 48, they were that of pride and satisfaction knowing that there was no doubt whatsoever that we were the best team in the league, something I already knew but that the team just demonstrated to others.

It's kinda like watching your son or daughter get married. You know for weeks or months that the event is coming, so by the time it actually arrives, it's somewhat anticlimactic. But that should not be confused with a letdown or a failure to rise to expectations.
No no no. It was very exciting it just was easy… like I’m stunned that it was so easy and just over. IT WAS A GREAT GAME AND IM STOKED FOR THE NEXT 20 YEARS TO COME

I think if the Super Bowl was the Rams OT game, we'd all have a different feeling.
I felt like, scary enough, that we never reached our peak and the rest of the NFL teams were a let-down. We are going to be a better team next season(barring a horrible OC hiring) and if another couple teams dont step up, its going to be an anticlimactic repeat with a chance at 17-0
This is it right here. My whole point is we were like an 8 outa 10 when it comes to our potential and we still destroyed everyone. Broke their minds

I’m 100% with you except that “it seemed easy“. The game against the Rams came down until the end. A four-point victory is not an easy win. Fact is the Rams could’ve easily been in the Super Bowl as well. Outside of that, especially the Super Bowl, seemed anti-climactic because of how bad of a team the patriots were. I don’t care what anyone says about how much they scored during the season and how good their defense was, historically speaking, they were a very weak Super Bowl team.

I'm sure someone else said the same thing for Andy Reid...a strange turn of events can unravel a season rather quickly. Not trying to be negative..just realistic. But Mikes potential for repeating a super bowl win is highly possible.
Maybe. But we win in a much different way than the chiefs. Take away Mahomes and what are the chiefs?

Yeah, man. You're saying it wasn't as satisfying as it possibly could have been, and it's true. However, it's like saying winning a lottery worth 1 billion dollars isn't as satisfying as winning a lottery worth 1.1 billion dollars when you're rich either way.

maybe I’m just not expressing myself well, it’s extremely satisfying. My shock and wonder is at this question: Are we really as good as it seems like we are?
Are we really better than we’ve shown yet?
We really just won the superbowl and we barely learned how to drive this car!!! Just wait. I am pinching myself. Are we dreaming?
This team, not hyperbole, might be the beginning of the greatest we’ve ever seen. A real dynasty in the making. Like coaching trees and losing coordinators every year. But it’s a rich man problem and I have so much expectation of our coach continuing to attract the top talent in coaching

I wasn't saying that I wasn't excited, just that some people might not have gotten as excited as some of us did. We tend to understand the game a little better than most and appreciate things like a good run defense more than the average fan.

I for sure didn’t think it was easy, nor was beating the Digits x2 and the Rams x2 at the end of the year. Thing is the SB win looked easy b/c the Hawks were able to shut down the Pats O with a defensive master class in domination.

Another rumble was a defensive battle is boring and to that I say “not if yo like watching defense”. Maybe the W was easy but the Pats were there until the Nwaso INT pick 6. I was impressed with how much better the HawksD was compared to the Pats.

Perhaps I do really misunderstand, but I have difficulty understanding anyone who could be remotely disappointed in a Hawks S B W.wwp

Felt that way after super bowl 48. Niners nfc champ game was the real super bowl and the Panthers didn't put up much of a fight. I'm taking nothing for granted though as the next year we suffered an absolute crushing loss and didn't get back for ages

The postseason felt a little too easy, we had a week 1 bye, then played a banged up 49er team that we blew out, beginning w the opening kickoff. So we coasted into the CCG w another home game against the Rams, who we handled easier than during the regular season. And ya, the Pats didn't belong in the SB, a team like the Bills would have been more competitive. So there was a limited amount of drama in the playoffs, and it did feel a little anti-climactic when it ended. Like, we won the effing Super Bowl, is this all there is?
🎯 Yep. Also, for me, there was a complete lack of angst, anxiety, doubt, fear, etc. from like Week 17 all the way through the hoisting of the Trophy (sidenote: apparently they will have it displayed @ Tiffany & Co. Bellevue Square tomorrow... I more than likely will take my son since we skipped the parade). I seriously had zero doubt that we were winning it all.

Not disappointed at all… just feel like I’m still waiting for the challenge
