Total pillow princess. Off my draft board!I heard that he also loafs when he's prone.

I want to expand on this.It showed up on his college tape too.
He's prone to loafing.
Compare his pff pass defense to Witherspoon for 2024.Per PFF he’s been regressing for the last couple of seasons, it might be time to cut the cord. His run defense has improved but his coverage has gotten worse. You’d think he’d be playing hard heading into a contract year.
Agreed 100%. We are seeing why he slipped in the draft so much despite his physical skillsI want to expand on this.
We didn't get a 4.2 speed corner who has a lab-built ideal cornerback body in the 5th round because the rest of the league is dumb.
It's because he's soft and it's because he was lazy in college, outside of technical flaws.
I think the point is that his ego got inflated after his rookie year, and the name change was just the start of his attitude, and the way he approached the game.So if we start calling him Tariq again he'll do better?![]()
Yeah except, that's one of Riq's highest graded categories and one of Spoon's lowest. Bit of a difference.Compare his pff pass defense to Witherspoon for 2024.
And your point is... ?Seahawk fans are embarrassing sometimes. They expect every defensive player to be as great as the LOB.
Yes, that’s my point. Riq is better in pass defense and weaker in run defense. Spoon is better play-maker. I find it hard to blame a player for taking care of his body when coming up for run support. Speaking as a Bears fan, Brisker is a vicious hitter, and he’s paying the price right now with a concussion that may end his career.Yeah except, that's one of Riq's highest graded categories and one of Spoon's lowest. Bit of a difference.

Um, I want players who play hard but not stupid. I gave Brisker as an example of a guy who goes beyond “hard”. He recklessly throws his body into tackles, and knocks himself out as often as the other guy. He’s a damn good player, but not helping us when he’s always on injury report. That’s been the story of his career. This is what I’m saying with Riq. He wouldn’t survive long playing like Brisker.I'll pass on the business decision approach. Play hard all the time, or go play golf.
