... for at least the 1Q next week.

When you have guys like Leonard Williams out there testing the physical limits of the 300lb body and Julian Love busting his ass to bail out the offense, you can't let Woolen get away with the embarrassing lack of effort he was showing. Bench him for at least the first quarter of the Cards game next week. Bad play is one thing, not trying is another.

Yeah, mentioned that too. He literally just stood there as they almost convert a 3rd and 50 along his sideline. Guy plays with absolutely zero fire/physicality, relies entirely on speed. Then gave zero effort on fourth down conversion and just put his hands up.

Contrast that to Witherspoon who is genuinely a heat seeking missile, they’re night and day players. It’s no surprise his name rarely gets mentioned by MM even though his coverage is good. He will never escape the lack of physicality calls he gets.

Hopefully he will start playing well again, and we can trade him for a draft pick

this is the pros. benching does nothing. Leaders like Love getting on him is the best message.

Then a bit later Love makes a huge play. I'm so glad we have him on our team. Riq made a couple plays this game, but definitely took that play off. Good for Love for getting in his ear about it.

once he changed his name he’s been weak. Hope he figures it out. Dude has talent. Just seems to take to many plays off.
So if we start calling him Tariq again he'll do better?

Per PFF he’s been regressing for the last couple of seasons, it might be time to cut the cord. His run defense has improved but his coverage has gotten worse. You’d think he’d be playing hard heading into a contract year.

Looked like Spoon was yelling at him for the 3rd down play. I would like to think his teammates are going to set him straight and not let him get away with that
