Lockett not being healthy has left him without a go-to option. It's definitely hurt him.

Plus DK Metcalf continually letting him down. The fumble vs the Vikings, couple of dropped TDs the week before.

We are reverting back to classic seahawks with our ground and pound run game. Not relying on Russell Wilson to be superman every game. It's this style of play the reason he goes under the radar every year despite being an elite quarterback.

I understand that Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, and Mahomes can be considered “leaders,” but I consider Russell to be on another level. In fact, I don’t think Mahomes and Ryan’s leadership even comes close to Russell’s. Both QBs have elite weapons and play designers during their winning years.

I still identify the Patriots by Belicheck more than Brady, but that’s just me.

Wilson has literally willed his team to victory Every, single, season. Look at how great the Niners defense is, with an amazingly designed run game by Shanahan. And yet, is it guaranteed they’ll win the Super Bowl? We went to back to back Super Bowls and people are convinced it was all Lynch and the defense. If that’s the case, why didn’t the Jaguars make it in 2017? If the Niners don’t make it, then why not? Why didn’t the Bears make it last year?

Russell truly cares about winning above all else, and for that he may never win the MVP. Watch all the games around the NFL, and then watch our games. How often do you see other Quarterbacks CHECK into run plays? Russell is literally reading the defense to benefit the entire offense, not just to pad his stats. He’s definitely my MVP

Trending down? He has lead the team to a 10-2 record and 5 wins in a row :34853_doh:

Ravens are also 10-2, beat us and Jackson just won the offensive player of the month.

That's what trending up or down means. Russell was trending up over the first 5-6 games, and now after 2-3 good but not great games he's trending down.

Hopefully this fiasco against the Rams sparks RW and gets him going again. If he can get back to the level of play he displayed earlier in the season all is good.

Win out and get the 1 or 2 seed and this team has a legitimate shot at a Lombardi.

Can't do it without RW in MVP form.
