I was worried how Klint would do coming over, it was shaky in the beginning but I think he's found himself with this team...figuring we have some issue players...he's doing quite rather well I might say.

John Benton, but not in a good way. He has definitely contributed to the low sack total, but we have to give a big tip of the hat to Kubiak, Darnold, and 12 and 22 personnel sets, on that.

Our running game is struggling far worse than I imagined it would— exemplified by the fact that we only generated a running first down on one of our second half drives against the 22nd ranked Commanders’ running defense.

I gotta go with Benton on this one. The whole team is doing better than expected so far this season, but the improvement I'm most surprised & impressed by is the OL. Who here had our QB only getting sacked 9 times 9 weeks into the season?
Yeah I’d say that would be the obvious answer. From an atrocious O-line to one that’s actually good is pretty amazing.

Great point.

Not Pete Carroll. Was listening to raiders broncos and the raiders penalties were killing them! They cost us so many games!

It’s Kubiak and not even close to me.

He could have been such a major disappointment aka what’s his tits from last year, instead he’s been solid, steady Eddie.

Even better, he is showing true growth with each passing week. Adapting to opposition tendencies and our offense strengths.

Happy for our OL coach but until our running game becomes what we hoped it would become, it’s hard for me to throw too many flowers his way.

Mike is not surprising me in any way, shape or form. I mean that in the best of ways. A cerebral savant, no nonsense, you either buy in or you don’t. If you don’t you’re looking for a new address right quick.

There’s no coincidence we are considered by many right now as one of the best teams in the NFL. That’s a direct reflection on Mike and the players buying in.

Jay Harbaugh, because it wasn't expected. Credit where credit is due to a young coach working in the background, ignoring the noise.
Yes, I was thinking Harbough as well.

Ooh, that's a good one, I should've included him in the poll. 😖

*Edit* I have added his name to the list. Votes can be changed.

Harbaugh should be mentioned for the dramatic improvement from year one to year two.

The Pili punch out was something they scouted and planned for. Kick and punt returns have been solid.

All of the coaches have been pulling their own weight... based off of our most recent games.

We're currently one of the most balanced teams in the league... so my vote goes to Mike since they are 'his' guys... and he's the team leader.

Kubiak, we are much more fluid on offense, especially since we are building it on the fly and it is his first year. Grubb versus Kubiak, which do you like better? Need to get running game more consistent, but it's known and spoken about and they are trying. Not like before where it was a wish but nothing happening with it.

I will give Kubiak and Benton this, they are lacking the vertical threat they knew they needed before the season started. MVS didn't pan out here. I'm looking forward to how the running game looks with the addition of this piece.

I dont want to jinx it but I feared the worst about special teams after last season. So far it's been good

Same.

I just hope he got all those "trick plays" out of his system now.

'Keep it simple' should be his motto going forward.
