I gotta go with Benton on this one. The whole team is doing better than expected so far this season, but the improvement I'm most surprised & impressed by is the OL. Who here had our QB only getting sacked 9 times 9 weeks into the season?
Yeah I’d say that would be the obvious answer. From an atrocious O-line to one that’s actually good is pretty amazing.I gotta go with Benton on this one. Great point.John Benton, but not in a good way. He has definitely contributed to the low sack total, but we have to give a big tip of the hat to Kubiak, Darnold, and 12 and 22 personnel sets, on that.
Our running game is struggling far worse than I imagined it would— exemplified by the fact that we only generated a running first down on one of our second half drives against the 22nd ranked Commanders’ running defense.
Yes, I was thinking Harbough as well.Jay Harbaugh, because it wasn't expected. Credit where credit is due to a young coach working in the background, ignoring the noise.
Ooh, that's a good one, I should've included him in the poll.Jay Harbaugh, because it wasn't expected. Credit where credit is due to a young coach working in the background, ignoring the noise.
Same.I was worried how Klint would do coming over, it was shaky in the beginning but I think he's found himself with this team...figuring we have some issue players...he's doing quite rather well I might say.
