No he didn't. A reporter asked him if he is hopeful about Clemons playing in pre-season and Pete responded with 'that would be very hopeful,' meaning that would be a stretch.

Clemons was supposed to miss the first few weeks of the season at least. It's amazing that he is even being talked about having a shot to play Week 1.

Given when he suffered his injury (January), any games he plays before week 8 is a bonus, IMO.
