Lets sit diwn over a zoom meeting and watch any number of Russ's highlight vids and count the number of plays that came from on time throws and were on schedule vs those where he was doing 'Russ'. I have watched them

Russ's buggest enemy is Russ and the hubris that has allowed folks to see him as more self serving and less self aware than he should be. His teammates are just making sure he gets a sense of REAL reality and not the one he has painted for himself.
Russ's real reality may happen even sooner than any of us expected. Dart is having a major impact in Giant land, off the field and ON THE FIELD. Even at this early stage everyone is being gobsmacked by Dart's competence. From sportswriters to teammates and coaches, they are all spewing out complimentary assessments of everything Dart has done, from passes thrown in practice to interviews given to interviewers that he required they introduces themselves so he could "get to know them".
But Russ is getting lectured...
And meanwhile, in Cleveland, Sanders first pass in practice was picked off in the end zone.

The whole Giants off season has been mysterious, they sign Winston, clearly a vet bridge. Since they have a bridge, why sign another bridge in Wilson? So Wilson wasn't a bridge? If so, why reach for Dart?

Maybe because they were convinced Dart was not a reach. But you should NEVER throw a draftee QB to the wolves, thus Winston, then Russ as an improvement over Winston. Both of whom are bridge players until they are assured Dart is ready. The thing is they are seeing a lot of readiness very quickly from Dart and if that continues throughout the pre-season the vet parade may be cancelled much sooner than anyone expected.
I believe Russ will have to ball out in ways he never has previously in order to keep this job for the entire season.

He’s going to get Matt Flynn’d early in the season. The Giants aren’t going to compete with any of their QB’s this year, so it’s a matter of getting Dart out there as soon as he’s remotely viable getting valuable experience. They need to start setting themselves up for the 2026 and/or 2027 seasons.

So you think Russel all of a sudden is going to be able to do things he was never able to do, even in his prime?
I think as other have said that even if he gets to start, he is going to start a few games at most m. This is his swan song.

Is Wilson's contract guaranteed, or can the Giants cut him anytime with minimal $$$ consequences?

I am telling you, i dont think Russ is the starter week 1 and if he is, it will be short lived. I dont think he finishes the season on the Giants roster and might very well be stuck without a team for a while until somebody loses a starter or an insurance vet.

Geno was never even close to Prime Russ. Period.
Amazing what his wheels and moonballs down the sidelines
could do with a great RB / Defense.
It would have been interesting to see Geno with the same RB/D
when Geno could really move years ago.
He could throw all over and not limited to parts like Me3 was.
We will never know ehh.

I call him that too, he's old and freezes out there quite a bit
but then you see what he could have been at certain moments.
It's just not enough of those moments that feels like you're getting
teased by him.
