I'll do it :

Hey...*PSST*...bud.

The reigning champs are NOT the Chiefs.

The champs are the Eagles. View attachment 71467
I'm aware of that. I was referring to was that the Chiefs are the reigning champs of their division. Perhaps I stated it wrong, but I did say divisional game and reigning champs in the same sentence.

The Eagles opened in Brazil last season, maybe the Chiefs are hoping for the winner of this years Week 1 Brazil game to win the SB again.

ah. Their Division.

I guess when you said "a home divisional game against the reigning champs", it wasn't quite clear that it was referring to the champs of the division 'cause right away the thought is of the SuperBowl Champs when that is said, not the division.

Yes, I agree that my words were easy to misconstrue, and that I deserved some time wearing the dunce cap. The point I was trying to make was that the Chiefs are one of, if not the biggest gate attraction in the league and the Chargers management are depriving their fans of this matchup. Plus, if they have aspirations of winning their division, why take what should be a home field advantage against the defending divisional champs and send it to a neutral field? indeed, there's likely to be a lot more Chiefs fans in Brazil than Chargers fans.

Why in the hell didn't they take a game like the Commanders? I would think that the object is to donate the least important game on your home schedule to the international series, and an opponent from the opposite conference would meet that criteria. I can't imagine any owner that wants to win agreeing to this plan.

Apparently the Chiefs wanted to play the game and the Raiders did not.

Also: LOL at the Renters having a Home Field advantage.

Actually, I could care less if we're in Prime Time or not. Afternoon Hawk games work best for my schedule anyway. Let the Cow Pukes have them.

Another thing I'm hearing is that the Week 1 game Chiefs vs. Chargers in Brazil will be televised live exclusively on YouTube, but that it will be for free.
I hate the Seahawks playing prime time, 1am kick-off me me in the UK.

My question is do the home fans of the chargers have to pay for a game in Brazil when it comes to season tix

No. I think it reduces the number of Home games they have, but they have an option to additionally purchase the international game.

In 2016 I was a season ticket holder for the Rams. The London game was not included in my package, but I had the opportunity to buy the tickets at a reduced cost.

They released the dates and opponents for the balance of the international series this morning, and we won't be going overseas this season. It's a bummer for me as I was hoping to make another trip to the UK.

The Vikings will be playing two games overseas on successive weekends, one in Dublin and the other in London. As far as I know, they're the 2nd team to have two international games in one season, the other being Jacksonville.

Vikings distance between their two international games is less than the distance from their home stadium to the Packers stadium.

Jags owner was in London a lot by choice. He used to have some sole rights to that market.

Rams and Hawks are top 3 in miles travelled this season.

I'm not convinced that miles traveled is a good gauge of how much a team has to endure on a road trip. The amount of time in the air varies, but there's the hassle of getting to the airport, checking bags, going through security, boarding, taxi, landing/deboarding, picking up luggage, and checking into the hotel. All of those things are constant no matter how far you fly, and the percentage of the time occupied doing that stuff goes up as the miles go down. The actual flying time is the least stressful of all those other inconveniences.
