Here is some good advice for you:
Take notes on how our Franchise is built, how our QB plays, how our stars play and behave and transfer that on to your team. I think your real goal should be to build a Seahawks South, so that you can have continuous success for the next 10+ years. You already have a solid QB. Now , see if you can draft a Sherman, a Wagner and a Doug Baldwin ... and you will be set for years to come.
As for next Sunday's game ... forget it, in terms of results ...

Use the TE. Seems to work for everybody else that plays us.

The Bucs aren't bad. They're a .500 team. Definitely a threat though the Hawks have the advantage.

I would seriously consider going on a two-week Vodka and Meth binge, while also being careful to avoid anything at all NFL related that might ruin your trip.

Who all do the Bucs have to face after the Hawks, is there any possible lightness in the coming months?

Stock up

Keep Evans away from Sherm and throw it up to him. Evans is a top 5 WR. Just pray he goes for 200 yards and 3 TD's.

Very true. Evans is incredible. Johnny Manziel should send him a Christmas card for making him a first round pick.

I'd be stunned if Kris Richard doesn't have Sherman shadowing Evans. However, in the Falcons game, they did a good job of initially having Julio on the outside matched up with Sherman, then they'd motion out a tight end or fullback out wide, forcing Sherm to go further out wide with that player and allowing Julio to be one on one with a safety or linebacker

Evans moves all over the formation, including the slot. Will Sherm being willing to go there?

Yes. In games where Sherman has shadowed a top wide receiver (Dez, AJ Green, Antonio Brown, Calvin Johnson for part of the game) all last season, Sherman will cover that receiver in the slot, on either side of the field. The problem is when, like I was saying earlier, Atlanta exploited that knowing we were in cover 3, finding ways to get Sherm off Julio and getting Jones in the slot against Earl or McCray at the time

I'm sure Koetter will look at this. And I'm sure he will look at the tape of our game against Atlanta. Koetter was the OC for ATL just a couple years ago, so I'd expect him to use Evans similar to how ATL used Julio.

Seahawks shouldn't take the Bucs lightly at all. It's not even a trap game. These guys are one game behind for 1st place in their division. The Bucs are an improving team.

True they shouldn't take the game lightly, but let's be real. One game back in the NFC South isn't saying much because the division stinks.

Keep crab legs and butter away from your QB this week. He's going to need the extra agility to avoid our pass rush.

Too funny. :2thumbs:

Keep Wilson in the pocket by not sending any pass rushers.

Double and triple cover Kearse.

If we have a big run, pull all your secondary off the field and send in all DL and LBr's.

On any down and distance over 10 yards, only cover the draw and screen passes.

Trade for Alex Smith. He finds a way to beat the Seahawks.

I will be watching this situation closely. In other news the Cowboys look like a legitimate threat.... In the NFC Championship game. Which they will host. Where is that thread? No disrespect.

The Bucs are facing the Seahawks at the perfect time (from their perspective). For the first time in 6 years, Seattle is vulnerable to the deep pass IMO. Earl Thomas (the best FS in football) is the straw that stirs the drink for this defense. He's what really makes that defense go. His sideline to sideline speed and instincts is what allows the Hawks to be able to play Single High Safety. He is a phenomenal center fielder, as he single handedly takes away deep shots downfield. It sounds like he's going to miss at least the next couple of games with a hamstring injury. DeShawn Shead (starting CB opposite Sherman) was also hurt against the Eagles on Sunday, so while the Seahawks DO have depth ... Thomas in particular is simply irreplaceable. So yeah, if Winston can avoid the onslaught of Seattle's pass rush, I'm afraid that there will be yards to be had downfield (unfortunately).

Shead may be playing this week. I do have to say that I thought Terrell played pretty good while subbing for Earl, and he knows the system well.

But yeah, Earl out is a biggie.

A division that does have a team that beat us....Just sayin...
Let's not get cocky. There has been parity in NFL this season. No game is easy and no division stinks. We are playing very thin at RB and missing two HUGE pieces of our D. We are very vulnerable this weekend.
