3-1 baby.

As some have been highlighting today, the Seahawks lead the NFL in several DVOA categories. I'm not a data dude personally, but I do know DVOA is pretty legit. Of course, outside of the run game (ironically, meant to be our strength), the Seahawks are passing the eye test on just about every metric.

Make no mistake, the Bucs are no joke. Forget their loss last Sunday. They are physical, play hard, and Baker has NO FEAR. Down 23 points heading into the 4th? He's your guy. So I don't take this prediction lightly. Hell, I'm trying to get my record above .500 this week. I am going to be my usual neurotic mess and not watch the game live. Self preservation and all. This is going to be a classic Heart Attack Hawks game, I can already feel it.

The intellect says take the Bucs to pad your record, but the heart speaks louder this week. And not just heart, but what my eyes are telling me.

The Seahawks are a great team. Just play your A game and the rest takes care of itself.

I was overconfident against the Cards.

Your prediction seems pretty spot on for the Bucs IMO..... At -3 odds are with you, although you're a little high on the over/under :)

And hey, we have, like, our burgeoning home field advantage to help us this week! Maybe that's worth -6 now that the fans see the team not sucking ass and have some hope!

The Seahawks are flying high! With an outstanding record of 3-1 (should be 4-0 if Reek Woolen didn’t have money on the 49ers), it looks like coach Mike Macdonald has this ship headed in the right direction.

That is until they’re hit by cannon fire from captain Baker Mayfield and the mighty Buccaneers and our ship starts to take on water. Arrrr, there she blows!

This game turns into a bloodbath. Bucky the Buccaneer and his squad completely dismantle our beloved Seahawks, doing whatever they want, whenever they want on the field.

Our offense isn’t any better. Anthony Bradford continues to play dazed and confused, and Darnold starts to look like modern day Geno Smith, running around like Captain Jack Sparrow all game long.

Hey, at least we have the Mariners game, right fellas?

3 and 1.

Between the Seahawks and Ducks I should just get pigskin transplant.

I think our offense is only getting better still.

I think it's time for their qb to throw some pics.

The cards were stout. Bucs less so.

I think that the Seahawks want to make a statement and angry they let the Arizona game almost slip through their grasp after having a solid lead. Seattle steps up and saids we are for real:

Seahawks 42

The Bucs stops here at 17

Hawknight 3-1

I think we find a way to eke out a win. I wouldn't be surprised if a defensive TD or key play wins it for us. They're tough to run against, so having a good offensive scheme/gameplan is going to be important. I like their team, think they're pretty well balanced, and I like Mayfield. My partner is a Sooner, so I've watched his career closer than normal.

Planting the Oklahoma flag midfield in the horseshoe after beating OSU is representative of who he is as a competitor. I got kind of laughed at on my previous football site for suggesting we bring him in to compete to be our QB at the end of the RW era.

This would be a sweet victory for us. 4-1 sounds delicious to me.

I take the under on Walker rushing for 124 yards against them. It's a nice thought, though.

Same. lol.

I just want to go 4-1, man.
Yeah, if Barkley could only manage 43 yards against them on 19 carries with a better offensive line, I'm not holding my breath on Walker getting even 80 yards with a worse offensive line. But I'd like to see him utilized more as a check-down receiver where he might be a little more dangerous.

But yeah...4-1 would be real sweet.

Am thinking this will be a very close physical game which will go down to the end to be decided.

Suspect the team will have some trouble with Mayfield who to me is a top 5 QB but the Hawks D will prevail and keep this a low scoring game.

17-14 for Seattle.

The Bucs D is THAT good to hold Seattle to 17 points?

The only way Seattle scores just 17 points is if Kubiak takes out Grubb's playbook from Week 1 and uses it.
