It’s either the Rams or the Digits, which is worst case b/c it’s yet another Divisional game. That said our team has the best record in the division, our guys are rested , and mostly healthy, and the D is just better.

Either game will be tough but seriously beating either team or in the end both is the path to another Super Bowl appearance.

Let’s go!

I just want Darnold to win one f'n playoff game (and more). You know? It's funny. I just said "who cares about narratives" yet I'm concerned about the Darnold-narrative here of not winning a Playoff game.

I think I better calm down here and look at the BIG PICTURE like @NoGain and the rest.

Our Defense WON'T give up 500+ yards of total offense like last time.

THAT was a fluke.

I'm going to say that this time will be closer to a carbon-copy of the first meeting but WITHOUT Darnold's stupid INTs.

We're going to win that game and send Stafford and PUKE-ah Knuckledhead and McVay home.

GO HAWKS!! 😤😤😤😤
I'm with ya. I don't get why people are shaking in their boots because the Rams might be coming to town. Yes they are a good divisional team. But so are the Seahawks. And they were a missed FG away from sweeping them while not even playing thier beat possible football.

I for one am tired of playing scared of the "big bad" Rams. Will MM and the actual team be talking about how scared they are as they prepare to play them? If they go out and play their brand of football then no team will stop them.

Lambs be damned. Let's go get this.

Let's be honest here.

The Niners are NOT beating the Eagles.

It's going to be the Rams.
I agree. The Niners offense isn't the same without Debo. The Eagles are peaking, are playing on their home field, and they are the defending champs. If the Niners can knock them off, my hat is off to them. But I suspect the Eagles win this game going away by no less than two TD's.

I don’t care who we get. We’re the team to beat. Guarantee our guys don’t care who it is.

With that said, I don’t see the Niners beating Philly at home.

Philly… returning champs. I don’t see SF beating them but, anything can happen in the playoffs.

It’s more of… I can’t believe the Packers just blew that game. AGAIN. Lafleur had a 21-3 lead, and the Bears are the 3rd team in NFL history to score 25 points in a 4th quarter in the playoffs. 25! Inexcusable.

Watching Caleb Williams play is absolutely maddening - it’s so unsustainable it’s wild. 7 comebacks this year for that team and i swear every single game for them looks exactly the same this year.

We're going to be playing the Niners next week.

McVay has now coached in 14 playoff games as the Rams head coach. In those 14 games, he has faced 14 different opponents. He hasn't faced the Bears yet, but has faced the Seahawks, so if the Eagles win today, that streak comes to an end. It's too freaky at this point to bet against.

That craziness will end if the Bears have to go to Philly.

There would be no 25-point 4th quarter for them against the Philly defense.

They played a month and a half ago, and the Bears scored 14 in the fourth quarter and won 24-15.

The Eagles also blew a 17-3 4th quarter lead to the Broncos (Broncos outscored the Eagles 18-0 in the fourth), blew a 21-7 halftime lead against the Cowboys, and barely held on to a 13-0 lead against the Bills with just over five minutes to go, and very well might not have held on if not for a blocked extra point.

That D isn't completely invulnerable.

I'm pretty sure the Rams are rooting for the 49ers today too.
It would be a nice thought at the idea that Stafford wants no part of this team but I'm sure he's actually thinking something along the lines of "eh. We can win because Darnold will make a bunch of mistakes. We got this"

No chance he's sweating this team.

I bet in his mind (delusional as it is) the Hawks are but a speed-bump on the way to another ring.

BUT....there's a great chance we make him eat grass early and often and have a repeat of Week 18 but with TDs scored on our end instead FGs and Missed FGs.

I hope the Hawks CRUSH HIM.

Go Hawks!! 😤

I’m afraid I disagree Glenwo,I suspect every NFC team is sweating playing the Hawks as each team gets beaten up pretty well by our D. Sam has grown before our eyes and the negative narratives around him are being proven false.

We know those teams and can beat either of them, truthfully most of us knew the Panthers would not win though they fought the Rams well. For the Rams the same stuff that has worked for them worked last night. It doesn’t work as well against our guys.

Our D has now figured the 9ers out and will be looking forward to doing it again and making Purdy and McC teary eyed again. Either way according to pure records we likely will see both Divisional foes again, but with much more confidence than in the past.

In the end we shall see, but beating either divisional rival again will be fun to watch. To be the best you have to beat the best.

GO HAWKS!!!

So, you think the Rams would rather play the Seahawks next week than the Bears?

I don't think the Rams would care.

I think they believe they will beat either team.

I would have more confidence if Sam didn't have the issues he's had Shula's defense.

That's my main concern at the core of this.
