The Hawks is missing Drew Lock
I don't think it's smart to trade up for a QB with the holes on offensive and defensive lineCowherd just did a segment saying the Seahawks failed when they didn’t trade up for a quarterback last draft and I agree. Even if you’re a huge Geno fan he’s at an age where if you can get one early you have to take it
I do.I don't think it's smart to trade up for a QB with the holes on offensive and defensive line
How so? Sounds like a recipe to ruin a young QB.I do.
I would have kept drew lock, especially over Sam Howell, and I would be ok with drew lock and a rookie QBOTFDrew Lock has more TDs today than Geno has had in any of the 53 games he has played as a Seahawk.
I would take the highest qb we can get our hands onI do.
Depends on the Qb. Last year Washington had one of the worse lines in football. They get Daniel's and now the line isn't so bad. Same with Denver last year thier oline wasn't one of the best. But bring in a mobile Qb and it takes alot of the stress off the oline. Nowa days you don't need a dominant oline. Unless you have a Qb like GoffHow so? Sounds like a recipe to ruin a young QB.
What holes in the defensive line are you talking about?I don't think it's smart to trade up for a QB with the holes on offensive and defensive line
So, everything but defense…got it!!Quarterback, OL, consistent pass rush, healthy RB, proven OC, and better ownership.
I wouldn’t doubt Seattle tried but probably not enough ammo in return.I wanted Penix so bad and I think he’s going to be a monster. Rumors are that Seattle did try to trade up for him but not sure how hard or if it’s true.
Good post!
I’m normally with you but I think Penix is going to be a superstar and if so it’s worth it. You can still attack the line with other picks and FAI don't think it's smart to trade up for a QB with the holes on offensive and defensive line
I would bet that has more to do with coaching, I don't think their lines were as bad as the stats indicate. Both teams changed coaches. Kingsbury and Quinn are huge upgrades. Payton also knows how to run an offense that helps his QB.Depends on the Qb. Last year Washington had one of the worse lines in football. They get Daniel's and now the line isn't so bad. Right, if we’re drafting find a qb worth snagging in the first we take him, and a lineman next.If you have a chance to upgrade your quarterback, you do it. As far as waiting until we fill the holes along the o line before acquiring a QB, why not try to do both at the same time? We are talking about interior players here. These are not typically guys you need to spend super high draft pick on. Unless your name is John Schneider, it shouldn't be rocket science.
