Mark Rogers is no doubt difficult. The Athletic article also threw a large portion of the blame to CAA, the LA talent agency that manages both Russ and Ciara. The first allegation was that CAA wants the couple in a bigger media market (hence the cities on the trade list). The second was that CAA wanted to shift the narrative from Russ struggling in the second half of the season to Russ not getting enough help in the second half of the season for marketing reasons.
okay I don't recall any place were any of that was said. and FYI
Wilson had a 93 Qb rating the 2nd half of the season that is not struggling, Not as good as first half but far from struggling
A passer rating of 93 in today's NFL is struggling. The 20th highest Passer rating last year was 93.5 which was Trubiski. Matt Ryan at 93.3 was 21st.
and yet anything over 90 is considered good adn 85 avg. Also let me remind you the Qb rating of those2 are their whole season Qb rating so to compare a whole season to part of a season is disingenuous. Wilson whole season QB rating is 105.
To give it more credence the supposed goat, Brady had a qb rating of 102 for the season, but he had a stretch of 8 games were his Qb rating was 85.
So while I agree Wilson was not as good in the 2nd 8 as the first 8 he was far from struggled. Again and to go even further
3tds to 1 int is far from struggling, completing over 665% of your passes is far from struggling,
Again you want to say he did not play as well as first 8 I agree but to say he struggled would be wrong.
Struggling would be qb rating for that span under 85, td/int of 1/1 or worse. Your definition of struggling is not accurate
Example What Kyler Murray did the last 8 games Qb rating of 82, 10ts/5 ints, that is struggling
Again you want to say he did not play as well as first 8
