I think there is no question the M's need to add another starting pitcher. We are one Felix injury away from disaster. And not even Felix, any of our starters. It's hard to get excited for Miley, Karns, or Kuma. Walker is starting to revert back to his old self.

Time to be concerned about starting pitching. 2 games in a row we've been blown out.

So at 8:43 we got our second out of the inning with no runs in down 12-7. At 9:05 the inning was over and we were ahead 16-12.

At 8:05 we were down 12-2, up 16-12 an hour later.

Pretty incredible. Reminds me of the Indians game against us in 2001.

I smell a playoff series of Mariners vs. Royals. It should be epic.
It would be nice if it was indeed epic if it did happen. However, I'm just rooting for an Ms playoff berth at this point. It has been 14 years after all. And I'm with HawkLock, I think this team needs to make a move for a quality starter.

That was awesome. This team can hit at any time and don't have to rely on streaks. Someone always picks up the slack.

Hopefully a huge momentum boost for the rest of the month.

Huge red flag with our starting pitching though over the last week and a bit, struggling and at times getting completely shelled. I'd be all in on giving Montgomery a start in place of Miley or Paxton in the rotation for a couple of games.

Mariners should have a team motto like the Seahawks have had in the past e.g. bigger, faster, stronger, louder.

True to the blue sucks, especially when the team also wear green.

My vote is 'refuse to lose'

When it takes a historic comeback to win a Miley start, it might be time to start thinking of making a move.

5.85 ERA for Miley now. He's not quite 2008 Carlos Silva, but he's gaining ground.

Saw a stat this morning that before the game Seattle was 16th in MLB in BA with runners in scoring position at .252. After going 11/12 last night they are now 10th at .271.

Not including the recent Twins series, Ms have scored a pretty crazy average of 12 runs per game in the last five games since beating the As 13-3 on May 25.

Wow I cannot believe we came back and won. Was able to catch a replay of the 7th inning on ROOT. Pretty amazing comeback.

As it turns out, yesterday was the biggest comeback by any major league team after 5 innings since the 2001 Indians game.
