Just based on the recent shoulder issue I would like to see someone else take over his return duties for this game. Need this dude healthy!

He was full go all three days of practice, so presumably he should be good to go tonight.

He's listed as Probable meaning he will play. But why hazard your (arguably) best receiver unless you are just out to pad stats.

Because he's by far our most consistent receiver and this is a very important winnable conference road game that we need to win if we want to stay ahead of SF and New Orleans in the NFC.

Someone has to return kicks and you're going to want to keep the same people out there to improve consistency (I'm terrified of kick return injuries myself).

Turnovers anger all coaches, but Pete has made it pretty clear that he HATES turnovers. Doesn't want to change the scheme up at the last second and have a guy like Michael do it and risk a bobble.

I am purely talking about returns.

Tate is a football player, if he wants to return punts, let him return punts, we don't have a #1 receiver

however we do have one making #1 money

If he's OK to run crossing patterns in front of safeties and LB's trying to take his head off, he's OK to return punts.

When was the last time one of our return guys got hurt while returning a kick?

All this concern about injury as it applies in this case is silly.
