Any bubble players specifically stand out this game? I was LOVING Blair's plays, that's the Blair I was hoping for when he was drafted. I also liked Easton Gibbs too.

Blair was all over the field, also made some big time hits.

Safety is going to be interesting. Bryant had some nice plays tonight and Okada was all over the field making plays. I thought Blair had some splash but also some errors.

Out of those three, I think Okada may have the edge.

Any doubt about Howell being our back up should be done now. Walker made mistakes and could not elevate the performance of third fourth string talent level.

Macintosh secured the number three spot tonight. Probably keep four backs, so Holani still makes four.

It’s interesting that Mike Morris played essentially the entire game. Probably about getting him prepped for the Tweener roll he’ll play.

Haynes had a flag early on, but played a pretty good game for the most part. I think Olu had some challenges and honestly played a better game last week. Right tackle was a problem for the starters again this week. If Curtis is starting week one, we will have major issues on the offensive line. We need Fant or Lucas in there.

One other thing, it’s hard to evaluate the inside linebackers right now. Rhattigan and Knght played well tonight. Dodson had a good game last week. O’Connell, Gibbs and Lynch all showed something tonight. It’s just hard to know how they’re going to perform against 1’s in the NFL.

Sam Howell played with a lot of poise and made sound decisions . He's one play away from being the starter .

I'm never going to cheer for a loss but I can see this being a good situation for Seattle to learn from .

Give Howell a year to sit and learn and he will be ready to compete for a starting gig. I felt that way before off season activities commenced and I still feel that way now.

Howell needs to speed up his processing a tad and to release the football a tad quicker to avoid a collapsing pocket. But Howell does throw a pretty ball downfield.

Derick Hall is not a bubble player, but a sack, 2 hits, a TFL, and 3 tackles is solid work for a half of football. It's good to see that much draft collateral making the turn.

Tyrice Knight, also not a bubble player but whom I hadn't heard any noise from until this week, apparently acquitted himself well in Mac's eyes.

Bubble players? I would say Marquise Blair and Easop Winston helped themselves, but not sure Blair is going to beat out Coby Bryant to make the roster. Winston or Dareke Young could beat out Dee Eskridge for the last WR spot, though. The following are not bubble players but played well: Derrick Hall, Kenny MacIntosh and Laviska Shenault.

Interesting to see that Myles Adams (53) and Mike Morris (47) got so many snaps. That's usually a sign that you're on the bubble. They're not both going to make the final roster. Tyrice Knight also saw 46 snaps. I would think that as a 4th rounder that he would definitely be a keeper.

Nehemiah Pritchett and DJ James, the two corners drafted this year, both played a lot--39 and 37 snaps. Given the depth at that position, I don't think either of them makes the 53.

What to make of Holani only getting 9 plays? Maybe they already know they want to try to put him on the practice squad and didn't want to give other teams a good look at him?

You're probably right, but then I think Myles Adams is the odd man out. And does Morris stay when Cameron Young comes off the injured list?
