Guess this means Mike Rob is in no danger of being released when Coleman is healthy again too, since Ware is done for the year. Now Coleman can be the backup FB and learn under one of the best for the rest of the season.

I would have guessed Coleman being placed on IR, but it makes sense keeping him on the active roster over Ware. When the 3rd string running back, Michael, is getting almost no carries, having a 4th running back is bit of an overkill. Coleman, when healthy, is a solid special teams player and provides insurance at the fullback position so they won't have to sort through scraps if something happens to MikeRob.

With that said, it's almost a shame we're so loaded at the position that we couldn't see Ware come back later in the season and play. I loved the running style he showed off in preseason. It'll be interesting to see how they view him moving forward. Is he still more of a running back or will they want him to add some weight and play fullback, competing with Coleman/MikeRob next year.

Seriously Tony Scheffler was released. Did not see that until now. I would definately say sign him.

His gf used to cut my wife's hair before he was drafted by Denver so that is one reason.........or not but I can't believe he wouldn't be an upgrade

Scheffler is a vet TE but I'm not sure he'd much of an upgrade over Davis as a blocking TE. Doesn't hurt to bring him in though.

NO WAY!!! Another NC State product in Zach Allen on the Seahawks? Are you kidding me? Heck Yes!!! I'd hoped he would find a spot somewhere.
