I think it would have been fun to watch Wilson throwing to BMW back in the day. Who knows, big bodied dude that can go up. Wonder what it was that the Giants didn't love about him since it looks like they went out of their way to get him in the first place.

^ Salary cap, Nicks/Cruz/and Randle now, plus injury would be my guesses.

Mostly it's cause Randle made him expendable.

Derp! Lol I suppose a little thought on my end would have led me to those conclusions, thanks for being my brain today!

Barden was a big star at Cal Poly (in SLO where I live now), and he has a good head on his shoulders. Not real fast, but good hands, strength and size. I've been hoping he'd wind up in Seattle for a while now.

Pete's holy grail is a big tall receiver.

Harbaugh too.

Barden was a freaking monster in his senior year at Col Poly. Being from CA I really liked him and have really rooted for him, but he hasn't been anything special in the NFL. All-in-all I definitely think he's worth bringing in for a workout, and definitely seems like the type of guy the Hawks would be interested in.
Agreed. I think he could excel with Wilson as his QB. Guy is a stud.

Ramses Barden makes sense. He offers something that is not on the WR corps right now - a big redzone target. Sidney Rice was that and now that he's out for the season, there is no one else with that size. The tallest receiver is 6'1 which is Kearse. Baldwin, Tate, and Harvin are all under 6 feet. If they sign Baldwin it would mean most likely Walters or Lockette will be released.

I support this move. The red zone jumpball threat alone is something Lockette cannot supply. Besides Ree-coh Suh-ahh-vey has already supplied this seasons contribution; 1 shaky shaky catch for 5 yards. Release him once and for all for gosh sakes. Yes, he's got elite practice squad speed... but still, he just can't seem to actually catch the ball cleanly on gameday. I say, "Bring on the big guys." If not Ramses, kick the tires on Brandon Kaufman from the EWU Eagles.

What happened to williams and Harper? They were tall recievers, right? Are they both already on active rosters?

I was wondering if the Hawks would kick his tires to do their due diligence on who's out there and available. He could be a good pickup that would fit our O and Pete's desire to have a big WR.

Huh?

Both Harper and Williams were cut earlier Harper is now in GB after being claimed off our PS by SF and Williams in Jax.

Yup. Otherwise they'd probably have been signed weeks ago by the Seahawks.

You know who we could also use right now? Kris Durham.

We could use some height. Sounds like a lot of injury history though
