No looking it up!

Largent and Blades are 1-2 on the Seahawks all-time receptions list. Who is third?

Okay the way this question is staged, I'm guessing it's not obvious, plus, if it were, you woundn't tell us not to look it up. So I'm guessing it's not D-Jack or Engram or any other receiver. Which means that it's either a tight end or running back. I know we've never had a great pass catching TE, Itula Mili might have been our best, so I doubt it was a tight end. Which means running back. Beast was no serious pass catching threat, and Alexander had fingers made of butter. Mack Strong will always be known as a blocking back. So that leaves either Curt Warner, Chris Warren, or John Williams having played long enough to make a dent. I know Warner and Warren were good runners, but I don't remember how good they were as receivers. I know Williams was the only real offensive threat we had beside Blades and Warren in the early '90s, and fullbacks usually catch more passes (at least historically) than halfbacks, so that's my guess.

John Williams.

Whoo-hoo! A win for logic!

Okay.... Who was the last player to catch a TD pass from Dave Krieg as a Seahawk? Hint: He's still active in the game, but not as a player...

Is that Mike Tice?

I like that guess, but I am going to go with Paul Skansi, who is still a scout for the Chargers.

Edit to add: Nope, I was wrong. No Skansi TDs in 1991.

Technically, it's interim coach Mike McCormack who had been an executive with the team and took over as HC after Jack Patera and GM John Thompson were fired in the middle of the player's strike of 1982. McCormack coached the last 7 games of the season to a 4-3 record, after which he became the team's GM and hired Chuck Knox.

Who is the only Seahawk player to ever wear #12?

Looked it up to keep us going.

What year did the Seahawks win their season opener for the first time?
Extra points if you know who they beat.

3 September 1984 vs Browns at the Kingdome 33-0, was that the game Curt Warner got injured?

Okay guys, here are a couple for you to think about -

Who has the Seahawks record for most blocked kicks in a season?

and

In 2011, Doug Baldwin became the first free agent rookie to lead a team in receptions and yards receiving since what year (and an extra point for that player)

Joe Nash

2008 John Carlson

Assuming I'm correct, the next question -
Which team have the Seahawks beaten the most (most wins against in history)?

Sorry dude, neither correct!

Not sure if Joe Nash ever blocked a kick and Carlson was a 2nd round selection from Notre Dame in 2008.

Joe Nash has the Seahawks record for most blocked kicks in a career, so he's not a bad guess.
