Yeah he lost us this game.

His lack of awareness and outright refusal to even look at DK in certain situations was unacceptable.

This is why he has never gotten any MVP votes and never will.

No sugar coating this loss was 100% on Russell Wilson.

The AZ game was his loss too. His decision making is absurd. The first INT was possibly his worst decision of his career. Russ sliding in bounds is another WTF is he doing moment.

But lets not leave Pete out of this. Not going on 4th was absurd. His first challenge was questionable at best. The time management here at the end is terrible. Refusal to go to the quick passing game remains a mystery. I hate being so negative but this has been 4 of the hardest weeks of football ever for me. Going 5-0 to this pathetic 1-3 recent spell is just plain hard to accept. The team is 180 from their start, with Wilson being the most inexplicable decline. No idea where he is mentally but it's not on the game.

4th and inches debacle was a game changer, but nothing overcomes all the turnovers Russ is delivering. His head is not in the right spot. Hasn't been for last 4 games. And Gino is hobbling now too. So what do you do?
Big problem when you depend solely on a QB to carry a team.

I think a lot of this is our offenses philosophy with the absence of a defense. We've slowly switched back to long developing routes, and teams are just blitzing us with no adjustment. The offensive line is having to hold plays for a long time in order to have things come open. Teams are literally just lining up and blitzing us, and we're just continuing the status quo. Russ definitely had a bad game but we have not been helping him.

At this point I'm wondering what Pete is even good for.

I appreciate the love JerHawk lol. This team is not going anywhere. Yeah I was wrong with 0-5 but 1-4 is pretty close.

Yeah, he's overrated, but now that the MVP talk has gone away (you'd think it has to after THIS game), hopefully he can get back to normal. It's a shame he isn't a selfless Tom Brady type who was willing to take a discount to get the team better talent. It's not like he's married to a pop star.

This would be a 2 win team without Russ, but yes the playcalling is ridiculous.viewforum.php?f=2

I am seeing long-developing pass plays with effing Dallas in there. I could pass protect better than that kid. He is horrible. Ok runner, but that is not what we need right now.

We aren't fooling anyone. Bellore isn't that much of an upgrade.

Put Homer in and tell him to keep the blitzes off Wilson.

DeeJay Dallas was NOT the reason for the loss or the O sucking so badly this game. Yes, his blitz pickup mental whiff cost us the AZ game. His pass blocking was improved and will turn into a strength in due time. (Or please point out the blitz pickups Dallas whiffed on; he may have made egregious errors I didn't see) Russell had time to get a throw off most plays, but held on too long most plays. That's on Schotty, for the long-developing play design, and Russell, for not adjusting and/or changing plays.

He's clearly injured, probably after getting obliterated at the end of the AZ game and then again at the end of last week's game. I can't think of any other explanation for his turnover rate suddenly spiking far above any career norm when he was the MVP frontrunner through week 5. His brains are probably scrambled right now.

They have him figured out Russ likes the deep ball instead of concentrating on moving the chains he will go deep and burn a few downs a lot of times it works out though but teams now seem to be prepared for it.

He's slow on going through his progression but then again look at his interceptions the last few weeks. He really needs a QB coach like Peyton Manning to show him how to read the Defenses and what his most likely read would be when they're doing what they're doing.

These last losses are totally on Russ his ability to not get the proper reads on the Blitzes holding on to the Ball to long just bad decisions like what the hell he had nothing but green in front of him and he chose to throw result INT.

If he had to bring in the best QB coach and pay for it out of his own pocket it would prove to be invaluable never quit learning take that next step.

There is a bright side to all of this just win 2 games and we're guaranteed to be a least 500. Pete said early on the Defense was fine he put a lot of those yards up as garbage yards being ahead by so much strange how he see things back when we were always behind I seen them as garbage yards and he'd put it like we gave ourselves a chance of winning lol.

Russ try’s way too hard to win games with his arm when it’s his legs that actually win games for us. When Russ runs and runs with conviction it puts teams on their heels. The last few games Russ has not been running for those 5-10 yard scampers like he did the first 5 weeks.

We get it Russ, you can drop some dimes but we need 40-50 yards on the ground every game and then we are unstoppable.

Purposefully getting him mobile never seems to be part of the game plan and only comes about when the defense is in prevent or he actually escapes a blitz and is running like a chicken with its head off. Kingsbury actually develops an offense for a mobile qb. We just pretend like we have drew brees basically.
