Just wanted to point out that neither number of running attempts nor success from running attempts have any effect on play-action success.

Even in 2016, when we had the worst running game in the NFL, Russ benefited more from play-action than any QB in the league.

Russell is phenomenal on play action, in part because he is so good at throwing accurately on the move.

Or is it? Maybe opponents don't expect play action, because we're 23rd, therefore if we do, we have a lot of succes because we are good in executing it.
