I think Ware is battling with Williams, Harper and Coleman for a spot on the final 53. I might think he was a threat to M-Rob if he was getting significant run with the 1s or at FB, but that doesn't seem to be the case thus far. That being said, I like what I've seen from him. Hope there's room for him.

If JS and PC thought there was a chance of MR getting replaced they would give him a shot to prove himself throughout the pre-season. From what I've seen, he gets pulled out pretty early in the game.

M-Rob is in his prime, knows the offense like clockwork, throws good blocks, and is a very nice asset. He compliments what we do on offense. He isn't going anywhere.

I really like Ware's potential as a fullback, but he hasn't been getting any reps there. I'd say he's at least a year away, and it seems like the team views him more as a RB anyway. Coleman's looked like the FB equivalent of Charly Martin, fringe talent, but he's playing (mostly) well. Bates is at least a year away. Mike Rob isn't paid much. He's a lock.

These threads are laughable. MRob is just hitting his prime. He was better last year than the year before, and I would expect him to be as good this year if not better.

There isn't a guy right now on this roster who could sniff MRob's jock when it comes to being the total package at FB, including all of the intangibles.

But if we're picking guys right now to keep or cut, Coleman > Ware

There's a reason we haven't seen him in preseason yet.... his job is secured.

I am not sure what games you've been watching, but I've seen him out there with the starters. I still think his job is pretty secure right now, but he has definitely been getting pre season game reps in.
