Right now i'm torn. I want to see him beat the 49ers before I consider any significant money.

On the flip side i'm not sure what the alternative is right now. Sam Howell? I don't love next years qb class and we'll likely pick mid. We won't get Sanders. I think Ewers is college QB level in my opinion and not impressed despite the SEC hype. Cam Ward and Milroe seem very streaky.

Too funny! Evidently the OP holds the heavenly keys on when fans can be critical and when they cannot. Or maybe it's just a mood thing. I'd bet on the latter.

The biggest issue with Geno is he's being asked to throw the ball 40 - 50 times a game. Fix the Freaking run game and a lot of the BS dissipates! The Defense giving up 450 + yards a game is a bigger issue!

This is it.

Truly.

He's throwing damn near as much as 2013 Peyton Manning, and he's doing it behind a bad offensive line and without a game-breaking scheme like those Broncos had (in an era where it's significantly harder to pass successfully than it was in 2013).

That's just not a realistic path to success in the modern NFL.

Grubb admitted he screwed the pooch on that one. Sure, we were having trouble running the ball - sorta - and said he went too pass happy, especially in the one game where he threw 50 times. Not gonna win many games like that.
