I've had a fair amount of Twitter conversations with Prisco and he's responded directly to my tweets (I'm sure others have as well). Honestly, on Twitter at least, he's clearly just trolling for a reaction. He also consciously or sub-consciously race baits, when he talks about "run around" QBs as he likes to say, but he's completely obvivious to the fact that Luck, Big Ben, Tannehill, etc. also "run around." I remember before the draft, he was saying that Manziel "intrigues him." I was like, "WTF"? He rants and raves about "running QBs" and now he wants to give Manziel a pass (not sure his current position on Manziel. In fairness, he has said that he likes Winston much more than Mariota, so i guess I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

His Marshawn Lynch piece was pretty awesome though (what players think when they tackle him). He's a decent writer and more measured when he writes, but on Twitter and TV he's just a troll.

Obviously he writes with an eye towards generating clicks rather than real journalism. Having said that, I find myself wondering if he dislikes Pete and Russell because they're so relentlessly positive and he just can't relate to that at all. He seems to go out of his way to find negative ways to write and talk about them--moreso than just to get clicks.

Which article by Prisco would get more "hits"?

1- Belichek blabbering and grumbling through generic answers.

2- Complaining about Marshawn not speaking to media and how sports need writers.

Oh the irony! By complaining about Marshawn not speaking, he still gets to "report" on it. He's such a D-bag!
