My personal opinion is I never even thought this game was some sort of redemption for XLIX. I get that some do. Meh. Completely different players. None of which care.

History can’t be erased.
But now pats fans can’t say much right.
A new history has been written.
One stupid play lost that game, this game a complete ass kicking took place. A worse ass kicking than the score reflects. Any Pats fan that knows anything about football should keep the Seahawks out of their mouths. We now have plenty of ammunition to fight back, not only fight back but win the fight.
That's how I felt, too. Not just completely different players, it was also completely different coaches. Had it occurred a couple seasons following SB49, then yes. But it's been 11 years, and I've long since put that game behind me. I never once thought about it, not during the lead-up or in the aftermath. My personal opinion is I never even thought this game was some sort of redemption for XLIX. I get that some do. Meh. Completely different players. None of which care.

FourIt obviously doesn't erase that stupid decision in the first go-around, and the fact that they should now have 3 Lombardi's instead of 2. But what it does do, is it keeps obnoxious Pats fans from hanging a super bowl victory over our heads, cause if they did, they'd know that we can throw that right back in their faces.
Both can be true.My personal opinion is I never even thought this game was some sort of redemption for XLIX. I get that some do. Meh. Completely different players. None of which care.

And we're just getting started.I've had to watch a decade worth of replays of the INT. I remember laying face down in my living room for a solid 20 minutes. My wife and I didn't talk for a solid hour.
It was a fast end to a dynasty in the making.
This doesn't make up for that, but boy -- does it create its own special place. I will forever remember LX. Forever remember this team. Forever remember the run. I'm grateful that I get to remember this.
