So what do you all think we should do with him? He will be on the last year of his contract this coming season and has a 2026 cap hit of $4.1 million. Although we have plenty of cap space it will go quick with all the stars on the team. I know he was the the punching bag for this forum last year and the early part of this season. BUT he has definitely improved throughout the season. Has he improved enough to keep? Can he improve even more? What options for replacements? Drafting a rookie will not necessarily mean improvement (will take time to develop) especially where we lay in the draft order. Very improbable we will get another Zabel without giving the farm away to move up in the draft. Thoughts?

We drafted a rookie in the third round two years ago to replace him and he was even worse. Bring in other competition, but I dont see the point in getting rid of him unless another team wants to trade something decent for some reason.

He's a good enough run blocker, and hopefully can improve in the passing game.

He has improved. I don't think it's been enough to be comfortable with. Depends on his attitude for continued improvement, what he's like in practice, how he fits the overall scheme, chemistry etc. I think they have to keep options open for an upgrade. He doesn't seem like the long term answer, but I don't know how the team thinks. What I wouldn't do is reach to draft his replacement when we're in a perfect position to go best-player available. I think he's improved enough to allow that at least.

It can't be viewed as anything but a failure if Bradford is starting next year. He has had plenty of time to improve, and the Hawks have had plenty of time to figure out a solution. He can't be starting next year.
Obviously he didn't cost us the championship, so technically we can win with him, but age and attrition are brutal in the NFL, and if you're not getting better you're getting worse. We can't expect JSN to have the same kind of year he had this year, so it's crucial that we actually get better at the positions that really shouldn't be difficult to improve at. If you can't find a better G than Bradford then there's a serious scouting issue.

Players do improve year to year. Wild take to assume that Bradford can't. He's still young and has room to grow.

There has been virtually no improvement. There has been no leap. He's had years. He was always a low floor/low ceiling guy, so there's nothing "wild" about admitting he sucks and will most likely continue to suck. Worst starter on the whole team.

Well he's still a starter on the team. Maybe the coaches see improvement with him that rest of us don't. Bradford didn't get benched or waived so he must be showing something to the coaches that make them feel he's worth keeping.

We have Milroe and Lock behind him. It's not like we don't have developmental candidates. Milroe's next level of advancement is to make Lock expendable.

Categorically false on multiple points. He's made improvements each year. Granted, he is the weakest link the line, but to just dismiss the improvements that he has made not just year to year but towards the second half of the season is asinine. It takes time to develop in the NFL especially at the OL positions. He was a 4th round pick, not every guy is going to be a sure fire stud immediately at that level. Writing him off is premature. Not saying they shouldn't get some competition at the position, but giving up on young lineman before they've even played their 4th season in the league is idiotic. At worst he can be a decent backup, swing tackle. That's worth something in this league.

On the for real, he is at his peak trade value. He was apart of a Super Bowl line, there is some false rumors floating around that he has improved and he is young.

Trade this turd to the highest bidder and if we get a 7th rounder, we automatically get an A grade for the draft.

That being said, in a draft pick trade, which round pick could the Seahawks get for him?

He is not just bad, he is a get your QB/RB killed immediately bad Never seen an Olineman whiff as often as he does. Getting beat battling is one thing, getting beat without laying a finger on somebody is the epitome of a traffic cone.

Bradford was better than Campbell and Wilson from the Patriots.

You roll with him in 2026 until you don't have to. You hope to develop Christian Haynes or Bryce Cabeldue.

As someone who posted multiple All-22 breakdowns of Seahawk games this year, I think I have a solid awareness of weaknesses on this team.

Feel free to watch Darnold's only sack in the Super Bowl.

He was rough in pass blocking at times, for sure. So were Cross, Sundell, and Lucas this season.

For that one whiff he had in the super bowl, you can pull up five running plays that he absolutely crushed it. He was a big part of the ground game on Sunday, and many of the big K9 runs wouldn't have happened without him. So if you are going to point out his flaws, be fair and give him credit when he does well.

I have no interest in a guy on our team who, in the Super Bowl, stands there and watches his assignment sack his QB.
