The NFL insists on shoving Peacock down our throats. Betting that we fans will pay the streaming fee to be able to watch some NFL games. It’s seeped into college as well.
It isn't the NFL as much as it is the networks. NBC is the ones that is trying to steer us to their streaming service. Might as well get used to it as seems to be the coming trend. Isn't the stuff on the FOX website?Last year they had a black friday sale, $1.99 a month for a year. That was right before a Seahawks game was broadcast on Peacock, so I grabbed it. My wife enjoyed the Olympics, we get more NFL games, for the cheapest of any of the streaming services we have. We also subscribe to paramount+ for all the CBS content.
What I really want is a Fox streaming option, because that's where most of our games are in the Portland area at least, and we have a hard time pulling them in over the air.
We pay pretty close to what we used to pay for cable, for a bunch of streaming services. Consumers demanded ala carte channels, and by gum we got it. It doesn't entirely seem like a win to me.
If so, I'm gonna feel real stupid.Isn't the stuff on the FOX website?
