Watching GMFB this morning, already the topic of discussion is if the Seahawks can repeat not just as Super Bowl Champs but win the division. Nobody picked the Seahawks to make it back, not even win the division. The jerk-fest continues for the Rams, and even the 9ers.

Of course, the lazy analysis is just because we lost our OC and K9 and others, we can't make it back.

Stupid logic.

Yes we can. We still have the #1 defense in the NFL. Unless Darnold turns into a pumpkin, we will still have a Top 5-10 offense. Most of this SB team is still intact. The culture has not changed.

I have them not only defending their title, but adding another Lombardi to their trophy case.

Florida and loving GOP country!
Option A is my vote. JS and MM are building something reminiscent of the glory days that brought us our first SB. Our D is only going to get better as per MM saying that we have not reached his vision for it yet, and even though we lost K9, I feel we have a plan in place there. The new OC is a wildcard, but he comes from a great offensive scheme, and I don't see a hiccup there. My only hope is if we have it at the 1-yard line with a timeout and another down, that we don't pooch it again!

At this particular moment in time the Seahawks are 2nd favourites to win the Super Bowl. I guess they'll finish 2nd in the NFC West and lose the NFC Championship game to the next champions. 🫅

We even brought the Gatorade guy back.

We need two immediate contributors draft or free agency. We still got like 30 some million. I think Sam does even better. SB. It's our time and our window is wide open.

Being able to win in multiple ways is pretty key, I think they'll go far if not all the way.

Lose the division, win a wild card. Win the wildcard and lose the divisional round.

This is why we always have a chip on our shoulders, we won decisively if you watched the Super Bowl, score just didn't reflect how much we controlled things. So doubt lingers, McVag bitched about the play and wanted rules changed, doubt lingers, we beat a injured 49ers team, doubt lingers.

We need to blow things the **** up to shut them the **** up.

No more Doubt !

Team wise I think they will be just as good, if not more consistent on offense. Defense will again be awesome. The schedule is no problem ...... I'm seeing another 14 - 3 season. That will get home field throughout and 2 SB's in a row.

Those fools on GMFB are crazy. The Seahawks are poised not only for a repeat, but a three peat. Book it, and book it hard.

Yes, they lost a few guys. K9 is the biggest loss of the handful of guys gone, but what the national pundits fail to recognize is that not a single one of them was a full time contributor. Next man up in most of these positions has already been on the field and has as much playing experience as the guys that left.
Another thing they are not taking into consideration is how young this team is and how they are still growing better together. Underestimate them all you want. We. Do. Not. Care.

Nice post but I don't think K9 will be such a great loss. John has always been good at finding RB's looking under every rock and this OLine is only getting better. I think the RB's in the fold now including any further additions will shake out 2- 3 solid producers not including Charb's. The Stealers signed Travis Homer today, John's castoffs tend to hang around.

I think our biggest weakness is CB depth and we should draft one or two. I also think some very real competition should be brought in at RG, for competition for Bradford & for depth.
Like you say, we are young yet and not close to peaking IMHO.

No question. There were clearly two top-tier teams last year, and we executed against everyone in a convincing way, including the lambs. Tey'll be a legitimate challenge and look stronger on paper after those secondary additions.

I expect we outpace McV’s squad. The culture we’ve built is incredible.

I’m also bullish on the OC until proven otherwise. His alignment with MM’s analytics, combined with JS’s approach...we could become the team PC always envisioned but couldn’t sustain.

Every year in the NFL there are big surprises. Surprise teams that fail to meet expectations and surprise teams that exceed them. I really think the Rams will drop off. Stafford will need another miracle season to stay healthy and play at the level he did last year. The Niners are still old.

Other than that no one else looks that much better than this past year. So that makes it another year of parity and anyone’s game.

Sure the Hawks need injuries to go their way etc etc just like everyone else, no reason they can’t go back to back. And having just done it they know what it takes.

Go Hawks!
