Or the guy who went bonkers over the Shaheed deal
I said we'll win a wildcard spot. Sorry, it's not my fault that I don't like giving out a huge deal to a player who made our offense worse.
We could've spent $17M on a WR to take pressure off JSN, and instead we just got a returner who makes our offense worse.

If we use him as a WR our offense gets worse, and if we don't use him then we're paying $17M for just a returner. Absolutely terrible. There is no way to justify such an awful contract.

Instead of trying to get better, Schneider is basically doing what the fans want, and we're going to see the Hawks take a step back next season because of it.

Shaheed flat-out sucked for us as a WR. We signed MVS to a $5M guaranteed contract last off-season to be a speedy WR to open up the offense, and we cut him because it failed to materialize. They tried again with Shaheed and it failed just like with MVS, but instead of admitting the failure Schneider went out and doubled-down on it by resigning Shaheed.

Schneider failed *twice* with speedy receivers in 2025, and then repeated the mistake even worse with one of those same players.

You said at the time we were going to lose JSN as the result of the Shaheed deal. How did that work out?

The thing to remember is that Shaheed was a mid-season acquisition with no real chance to build chemistry and get a full grasp of the offense through camp. Clearly, they see the talent that will present itself with a full offseason.

Schneider is not one who doubles down on mistakes, that was more Pete.

With any respect due, I have to ask.

Do you actually believe this, or are you trying to get a rise out of folks?

The offense was still good with him.

He was brought in at the right time especially with Horton being out for the season.

What is also not pointed out was his effectiveness on the running game where if he was out there, the opposing D had to respect his presence instead of fully stacking the box.

AnimeBozo is just talking out of his rear here.

It goes to show how desperate the NFL and associated media wants to move past the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl.

“But, but, the Rams!! Shiny market!! Forget the fact they can’t fill SoFi more than 40% of their fans! Oh, the 9ers a bit north! History! Rice! Montana! Forget they are one of the oldest teams in the NFL! Legacy! From last century!”

Barf.
They can 100% eat a bag. Writing us off will absolutely make them look like fools yet again.

I really enjoy watching clips of the genius NFL guys placing us last in our division at the beginning last season.

They are currently doubling down on stupid.

BRING THAT SHIT ON!

NFL is desperate to build that lazy LA market up. Nothing they do will change the "meh" attitude of laid back California fans. They aren't even good bandwagon fans.

Seahawks fans are the most passionate, the most(ly) informed, and the most likely to recognize BS and call it out when they see it fans in professional football. We rival the passion of college football fans, we're just much smarter.

"Most of this SB team is still intact."
Most, but not all. I have seen inprovement for both Rams and Niners rosters, but not for ours. Having just squeeked by the Rams this year I am not all that confident we can do it again. BUT, it is still very early in the offseason so things could change. Someone commented on Stafford making it through yet another year playing at his accustomed level, or not. That could be a key element for the Rams, and for us.
Bottom line is I just cant say one way or the other if we will repeat, but I do feel confident our Head Coach will have us competitive vs anyone and everyone.
I think one thing people are underrating is we have a lot of players still ascending which is hard to quantify. Witherspoon, Murphy, Emmanwori etc are all still climbing and will improve. I don't fault anyone for not being confident though as it was close but I still think the Seahawks have the best roster even without Walker, Woolen, Mafe etc. Heck I forgot about Mills too who looks like he could be a big time contributor. Man its going to be a fun year!

You also have to add in guys like Sammy D in there, too.

He's still ascending himself.

Reload and fire!!!

It’s crazy the difference between football and baseball. With the hawks they feel dominating and after what we saw last year going undefeated does not seem far fetched, but when you talk about the mariners it feels like even just making the playoffs again is not a guarantee, is that just the difference between first place and third place?

That’s the thing about this team. Even Leo is still getting better. The ceiling is the roof man
