Lucas. Walker is a one trick pony and second string on the depth charts to Zach Charbonnet
I never heard of/read of what you said, toffee. I guess I missed all of that, and I'm a pretty diehard Hawks fan. I'm glad someone finally pointed it out to me. It's a good thing. Where did you see/hear/read that from that evaded me all this time? Every time I mentioned it here, no one corrected me or informed me otherwise. His knee is fine.
Lucas himself stated he has no idea why Pete said it was degenerative, when all he did was mangle it REALLY bad. He also stated himself when he came back that it's fixed and just needs some time to get into playing shape. He was basically laughing at the fact that Pete/Fans thought he was "finished" when all he needed was a little bit of time.
Old man Pete had no idea what he was talking about when it came to that knee, and basically started a rumor for no reason about the severity of the injury.
Rest assured, that knee is not a long term concern.
He (Lucas) was doing some interviews when he was in the rehab process and working out, when he was coming back. Not sure if it was on official Seahawks media or local coverage.I never heard of/read of what you said, toffee. I guess I missed all of that, and I'm a pretty diehard Hawks fan. Yes. The Jets game last year was the last straw. Pulled up on an easy tackle, allowed a first down that would have ended the game otherwise. Love even jumped his ass. That was it for me.It cracks me up how many YouTube Seahawks people
Think reek is really good. And that we don’t even need to try and replace him. The guy plays lazy so much, and isn’t a willing tackler.
No doubt. Also, the game where he did the throat slash when he hadn't done squat all day. Next play, dude owns him for a TD.Yes. The Jets game last year was the last straw for me. I did say poor man’s. He handles contact well and runs well between the tackles. Walker needs to get his ass in gearHe's not in the same stratosphere as Saquon fricken Barkley.
Agree to disagree. Walker is a beast. I like Charbs too. Not everything has to be a competition and/or this guy sucks etc. Great problem to have, they're both good RB's. Charbs is not a freak, he's a decent back who had a few good games. He's not as good as K9, I won't change my opinion on that until I see him consistently get it done.I did say poor man’s. I agree that Lucas would be the proper choice considering the issues Seattle has in drafting , developing and keeping good linemen. My prediction is both of them will play well this season and set themselves up for a payday.JS knows a lot more about Lucas' knee and K9s ankles/abs/groin than any of us. I feel like both are completely dependant on whether they play this season ;showing those recurring injuries are completely healed or they'll continue to be recurring. They're both valuable under a particular price and they're both replaceable over a certain price. That price will be set by production and availability this season.
If we're just predicting with the small amount of information we have right now: Lucas has been shown lifting on his bad knee and in great shape. K9 has had multiple different injuries and plays such that injuries are inevitable. Odds are that Lucas is a higher percentage bet to add value longterm, still dependent on price.
