Seattle has moved up to #4 in offensive DVOA which is surprising. Going to be interesting to see if the needle moves when they play a couple of softer defenses coming up after the Minn game.

We don't see it because we're so consumed with every negative play that occurs in the latest game.

I am concerned about the Vikings propensity to get to the QB, though. They are athletic and have some unique blitz packages.
However, they don't defend the run well. Should be interesting game plan giving that Seattle has found strength in their Oline pass blocking and trusting Wilson to throw alot more the last two weeks. Now comes a team that struggles with what was Seattle's strength for the last two seasons.

Not concerned beyond the fact that it is AP. Pitty dropped back to pass like 60 times and ran 10 or so. If we were not set up to stop the run I totally get why.Ace_Rimmer":14nhv9i7 said:austinslater25":14nhv9i7 said:Agreed. I am confident that we win ion Sunday, but is anyone concerned about the run D? it seemed last week that the Steelers RBs would break tackles, and gain positive yards when it looked like we were going to stuff them? AP concerns me here.

I guess we sell out to stop the run, and let Teddy try to beat us with his arm?

Diggs is a wild card, but Sherman can shut him down. They haven't effectively found Wallace all year. The main concern will be Rudolph

I hope the Seahawks don't let Rudolph play in any reindeer games and Santa doesn't get involved.

you owe me 15 seconds of my life back...
Over the last two games, the extra urgency might be because of Lynch being out rather than some special support for Rawls.kearly":1zjmkcrp said:I wonder what the DVOA is like in the five games Rawls led in touches versus the six he didn't? It definitely feels like Rawls has provided a spark that the offense needed. Everyone- the WRs, the TEs and the OL have been playing with more urgency with Rawls, particularly in the past two games. I feel like this has allowed Wilson to relax a bit more and just focus on distributing the football without having to feel like the weight of the world is on his shoulders.

I'd like to see the needle move up after the Minn. game.
Big game... and, because I reside in this frozen wasteland and am surrounded by fragile Vikings fans, its even more so for me, who will have to listen to these high school cheerleaders all week. Atleast Packer fans get on with their lives after a win.

According to HawkBlogger, the Vikings are ranked 21st in sack rate in the last three games.
What they're good at is red zone defense. The key to this game IMO is converting at least 2-3 red zone appearances into TD's. If we score 23 I think we win.
