Agreed. A good showing against a very good defense would tell us a lot for the Offense going forward. I have a feeling we will all continue to like what we're seeing from the offense.

I am confident that we win ion Sunday, but is anyone concerned about the run D? it seemed last week that the Steelers RBs would break tackles, and gain positive yards when it looked like we were going to stuff them? AP concerns me here.
Not concerned beyond the fact that it is AP. Pitty dropped back to pass like 60 times and ran 10 or so. If we were not set up to stop the run I totally get why.

I guess we sell out to stop the run, and let Teddy try to beat us with his arm?

They're certainly not going to hand the playbook to Teddy with his limited arm strength and just-a-tick-slow release. That's a flood of interceptions waiting to happen.

They'll play dink-and-dunk all day. Their kicker has been a busy man this year. If we can overcome their red zone defense and punch it in, we win handily.

Improving the offensive efficiency in the red zone is the key to this game. We can't abandon the run or abandon a running threat in those situations.

I'm not as worried about RZ TD's as some others. I want to see 5- 20+ yard TD's :)

I'm going to make a prediction that Wilson will rush in for a TD, his first for the season.

I hate the number of 3 and outs we have. In the Pittsburgh game, at one point, we went 4 out 5 three and outs ( I believe the one that wasn't was after an INT and we scored on a short field). Also having great field position after a good return, then punting it away after 3 plays is so disheartening.

Rarely in life will we get to see a perfect Seahawks game. Every team goes three and out at some point. Look past that and see the improvements the offense made and think of it as something they can build upon. Better is coming.

Totally agree and was very happy with how the team finished the game. I'm just hoping this is something we improve on

6-5 with one win at home against a mediocre or better team. That is the stat that matters. 8 or 9 wins doesn't cut it with the money spent.

It's nice he played well last week. He needs to play well. That's what he's paid to do.

I normally stay away from your posts, they reek of agenda. But this one is too good to pass up.

5 games have not yet been played. you evidently have us winning 2 or 3 of those in your imaginary future. You are blaming Russ for losses that haven't even happened yet. I repeat, you are blaming the QB for shit that has not happened, games that have not been played. That is so weird to me. I start to wonder about a person's stability when they so demonize anyone, not just a player, that they blame things THAT HAVE NOT HAPPENED YET on someone else. That kind of dislike doesn't come from thought in my experience, it comes from some deep seated feelings that make no sense.

Which is why I won't try to explain to you how Russell's salary is part of a market based economy, what his exact role in the 5 losses was, or how your baseline of 19-0, with all losses hanging on the QB, is just plain nuts.
