Ok, one last sighting.

My family has a place in Ea Wa called Crescent Bar. Like, a retirement community sort of set up. Every 4th there is a golf cart/float parade.

A few years back I am sitting on the lawn, beer in hand, and a cart goes by with Mack Strong on it. Surreal. I don't think he was the parade chairman or whatever, never found out how he ended up there.

Not a Seattle Hawk…not even football related but, I still remember this vividly.

My dad was taking me to an Atlanta Hawks game. We weren’t Atlanta fans, just happened to be flying through on the way to the UK (pops was in the Air Force…was getting stationed in England).

This was back when Dominique Wilkins, Spud Webb, etc were playing.

We arrived early to take it all in. I was more of a b-ball fan back then. Great HS career and went on to play D1.

Anyways, we noticed this staff member scrambling to find knee pads for Kevin Willis. He came into a sports apparel shop we were in right outside the stadium. I remember the knee pads brand logo…

We get to the game right before warm ups. Kevin Willis comes out. No knee pads. I point out…pops says ‘look again’.

They were wrapped around his elbows and arms. Pictures don’t do that dude justice. He is one of the biggest dudes I’ve ever seen.
