I love moneylines and parlays. Nothing worse than losing a parlay because the point spread came into play, whereas it is easier to stomach winning but not winning as much when you should have rolled the dice on the spread.
Be it betting big with 3-4 obvious winners (disclaimer: still a little early for obvious winners). When parlaying obvious winners on the moneyline, the bet obviously needs to be big to get any half decent payout.
This week I like a couple of dogs on the moneyline: A $100 Detroit/Atlanta parlay at the book I use is paying out @ $362.00, but if you want to take the points ( 2 & 2.5) it still pays out @ $281.00. If you're new and just looking to try it out for fun, $25 on a moneyline parlay is still a cool $90.50
I'm not sure that I'm confident in any favorites, maybe Miami, New Orleans and Baltimore - but those teams have big warts. But, for the sake of this thread, a 3-team moneyline parlay on those favorites pays out as ($25 =$33.00; $100 = 132.00).
Personally, I'm going with the DET/ATL moneyline parlay this week.
I like DQ to have Eli's number, and Julio and Ryan to eat up NYG's mediocre D. Stafford/Golden/Calvin/Abdullah are too much for that Vikings D that looked quite pedestrian against the 49ers.
