What are the red flags on Murphy?Wilson and it isnt close for me. Murphy has a ton of potential but a couple of red flags that concern me.
Both Tyree Wilson and Myles Murphy look solid. Derick Hall is another Edge rusher that may be a solid pick in the late 1st or early 2nd round -
You only do that if you're in love with one of those prospects. Just because they're ranked highly in this draft class doesn't mean they're good. Look at last year's class.I'm probably oversimplifying this and I admittedly don't watch lot of college football, but from everything Ive seen and read on these 2 guys, I don't know if I'd be thrilled with either at #5. It seems to me there are 3 stud QBs in this draft and 2 stud D linemen. I'd like come away with one of those 5, preferably Carter or Anderson. After those 2, there does seem to be a drop-off. So, if they are both gone, I'd like to see us take the best available among Young, Levis, or Stroud. If we do end up taking Murphy or Wilson, I hope we roll the dice with Richardson with our 2nd pick. Geno or not, I think we need to draft a QB this year.
An interesting question, and I decided to look it up. Their local rag seems to think the defensive coordinator change had a lot to do with his improved play.At 21 years old, Murphy is two years younger; how different will he look with 2 years to learn and grow into his body? I've heard that Wilson has a great motor but why did it take until this year to show up?
I am 100% with you. The man is disruptive. But he looks like he's maybe 270. So there's definitely a lot of risk in taking him early in the draft.I like Calijah Kancey DT Pitt Panthers . Unique skills ,kinda small but it doesn't matter.
Thing is he would not be playing NT for us. He'd be playing 4i or 5T, so 280, which is his listed weight, would be perfect.I am 100% with you. The man is disruptive. But he looks like he's maybe 270. So there's definitely a lot of risk in taking him early in the draft.
