Don't know what their cap looks like after this year, but the Bears had no cap space last season. They need to find a franchise Qb first, and quit worrying about our Dline studs.

Bennett interview the other day was saying how much he wanted to be here because of all his friends. Family is great and all but winning a superbowl with your buddies is probably more enticing than having to go witness every season fall apart the minute smokin Jay Cuter gets injured in about week 7 or 8.

Seattle will just have to pay as much or more than the other teams that offer him a contract, including Chicago. Thats usually how it works for most free agents. I doubt a guy like Bennett would take substantially less than market value from either Seattle or Chicago. As an UDFA and then a 1 year contract guy, he hasn't made a ton of money yet. He will be looking to get paid. I consider keeping him to be of paramount importance.

Mike got my son and I some tickets to this past Cardinals game. He trains at the same facility my 8 year old boy does here in Hawai'i, which is where his wife is from. In any event, in talking with him, his sister, his parents, and his wife just a week ago, it sounds like he is more than happy to be in Seattle. A nice house near VMAC and his wife was telling me that a lo of their family is in Seattle or recently moved there. I didn't hear much about Martellus, but if course it would be nice to get him here. I'm sure Mike's dad and mom would like their sons to be on the same team cuz the traveling would be easier for them. Anyways, I don't think either leave their teams. I think his wife has some pull in this situation
