Marshawn Lynch and the #Seahawks  are open to a reunion, and Lynch has told people he plans to travel to Seattle today to discuss it, sources tell me, @MikeGarafolo and @TomPelissero. #BeastMode could be back in Seattle.

Rapoport would tweet the same thing about his own mother if it would get attention.

He’d be accurate about it as well. Him and Schefter get it right majority of the time. They don’t risk their credibility.

Is he even in football shape? He hasn't played in a long time. It seems very unrealistic to bring in a guy who hasn't played in a long time and may not even be in shape for week 17.

Marahawn made a visit a few weeks back. If he were not in shape, they would not be pursuing this. The staff saw something to say he could still play.

Although I think there is little tread left on his tires, seems like this might be the only set of decent tires in stock.

Hell yeah! We need some warm bodies in the RB room, and this will be way more fun then some rando. (Also please not Turbin).

Wasn't it Popeye who said he personally ran into him and he looked high af on Friday? The detection window is 30 days for weed.

But then again, why go up to Seattle just to have the inevitable discovered?

Although I don't believe it will happen, that tweet was 11 days ago, long before we were down to our 4th string running back. Interests can and do change. Right now we are in desperation mode. Carson was running all over the Cardinals early. He gets hurt and CJ shortly thereafter and our gameplan fell apart. We are desperate at this point. I still would think there are better options at this point, but good options are going to be few and far between.

Why not?
We have scraps and spare parts to choose from anyway.

I would do this just for the emotional lift (Willis Reed Game 7 1970) factor. would not expect Lynch could contribute much in the game, but he would get the crowd & team into a frenzy just being there.

Football shape or not sign him and hope for a miracle! Pay him some dough and tell him to run. Expect the worse and hope for the best!

This is possibly the realistic take.

60% of Marshawn Lynch is still worth having on a team that only has Travis Homer on the roster.

Would rather have him than Turbin, Morris, Anderson, etc.

No street FA other than Lynch has a chance to elevate this run game for a playoff run. At this point, what else do you have to lose?

Under the current circumstances, there is absolutely no downside to bringing him in. As long as he isnt the only option of course.

But as one of like 2 or 3 guys? For sure.

The season is going down the crapper with key injuries so might as well have some fun giving Niner fans PTSD for a week until game day.

Free Marshawn!

Just make sure he gets #24.
