Even if Geno had INTs that weren't 100% his fault, he was still among the league leaders. Unless we're trying to make the argument that other QBs are solely at fault for theirs. That isn't super encouraging when you're trotting out of the league's oldest starters, and it will need to be cleaned up if the team is going to take another step forward next season.

It's no use. We could win the next Superbowl with Geno and these chuckleheads would complain that since we didn't win 43-8 that GENO SUCKS!
Totally wrong. I would be ecstatic if he even won a playoff game. You're just making stuff up, and that's fine.

I want geNO to become geYES and kill it next year.

Don't nearly all quarterbacks have an excellent TD to INT ratio close to the end zone? Hass' was downright studly. INTs just don't happen at a huge rate down there. BTW don't look into examples from the past ten years, or in particular, exactly ten years ago. That would just be... boring.

I never understand why we always assume every pass that doesn't end in an INT was well-thrown. Well, I do, but it's dishonest. I remember being annoyed during the Lions game with some of the bad passes being thrown badly out the back of end zone. Having to kick those FGs made it tougher to keep up in a shootout. Was that final result 100% Geno's fault? No. We would have stood a better chance at what could have been a truly defining team victory if he had played better in the red zone though.
Yeah Geno hasn’t been good near the end zone. We can blame everyone but him but he’s a major factor in this equation.

"I love this part of the season, because you're building your team," -- Macdonald

"That's the driving force of why we're down here," Macdonald said. "You talk about chasing edges. That little margin of, yeah, I can watch it on tape, but how do I feel guys in person? It's different. It's like being at practice and feeling players at practice vs. watching them execute on tape. It's a similar relationship.

"Just watching one on ones, seeing how they handle it if they lose a rep, or when they win a rep, and watching them talk to teammates. There's just little things you can pick up here and there. You're trying to just feel them. Just feel who they are without them always being on their best behavior when they're in a meeting or something. Just trying to get that extra angle of understanding what the type of player they are and what type of person they are." 👉 https://www.seahawks.com/news/mike-macdonald-joins-john-schneider-seahawks-scouts-at-senior-bowl-i-want-to-be-involved-in-the-process

Yeah, that one-on-one time is so valuable. Watching how they interact with other athletes and respond to the drills tells you a lot about how they fit in team personality.

I agree with MM I am only casually interested in the NFL Playoffs but much more about the off season which starts with Black Monday. My favorite part of the Senior Bowl is the last practice where they have the “ compete“ drills with how the players who only have been together a few days how they interact with each other

Why the hell is podcaster Tim Pool at the Senior Bowl? (Upper right in the pic) And whose gear is he wearing? Is he working on some sort of NFL rigging/steering expose?
Hawblogger is the one who has Berts ear .. Watch for who he likes.
