Does the team not having one player with any Superbowl practice worry anybody?

I don't know whether or not it will, but it is just very odd and somewhat rare to not have a single person with Superbowl experience. Although Pete did just say that Ricardo Lockett went to last years Superbowl so there's that :th2thumbs:

The Broncos have one guy that has a ring, and a few others that have been to the Superbowl. It's not like their whole team has been there before now as a whole unit. So I'm not too worried about this being our first....because for the vast majority of the Broncos it's their first as well.

Manning and 3 other Donkeys have experience in the SB. Manning is the only one who's won it. Big Whoop.... What matters is the team your putting on the field and what you do that day. Seahawks have prepared for this with a one game mentality all year. It's just the next game.

Everyone says the same thing, the first hit makes the nerves go bye bye. The rules are the same as any other game. No big deal.

Not worried a bit. That chip we'll be carrying on our shoulders has been to PLENTY of SBs.

It's hard to discount Manning's prior SB experience, but in the grand scheme of things, the best advice Super Bowl noobs can get from veteran players who have been to the Big Dance is this:

"Whatever you do -- DO NOT pull a Eugene Robinson the night before the game and end up in jail!"

Pete Carroll will set the tone. And his experience playing in big college games that counted is, in my opinion, much more relevant than anything John "Turtle Neck" Fox can say to his players.

I think we will be fine...anyone believe that this game is going to be more intense than a game against the 49ers to go to the superbowl at Clink..I dont believe so, even if it is for the title.

Ricardo Lockette would have something to say about Super Bowl experience...

Nope, the lack of experience is a GOOD thing.
ALL the pressure is on Manning, from the media demanding that he get another victory in order to be considered the best, (which is incredibly stupid BTW...pure media mindlessness at its best).
The Broncos have to win one for Manning, win one for Champ, they are favored, and are the so called "good guys"...ALL the pressure is on them.

Besides, there is no real evidence (only anecdotal) to support the idea that Superbowl experience helps anyway.
Teams like the Cowboys won multiple Superbowls, while teams like the Bills lost multiple Superbowls, but BOTH teams had Superbowl experience.

Pete's philosopy of a Campionship, practice, game in many ways makes this just the next game and I from what I saw in the 1st interviews, looks like they are dealing quite well as far as the game.... its how the players deal with all the SB BS!

This thought has certainly occurred to me. However, Pete Carroll has been to the BCS Championship Game twice. He knows what it takes to get players ready for the biggest games of their lives. This experience should serve the team well.

We all remember that the super owl is not a sport in and of itself right? The sport is football and every seahawks player has plenty of experience.

Ken Norton Jr. (sure, he is a coach, but WAS a player) has experience winning back to back to back Super Bowls. So, we win.

Ya Pete also mentioned how critical he has been for the team as well and he is a great source to go to.

Teams without any players with Super Bowl experience are 2-5 (since Super Bowl II).

Source.

See #5.

Fortunately then, that doesn't apply to Seattle. Lockette was a member of the 49ners SB team last year, so Seattle technically has some superbowl experience.
