Kind of hope they do overpay him to be honest. I get bad Albert Haynesworth type vibes from Sheldon in regards to giving him that big payday.

Richardson is gone. The jets have a good developing defense and have looked good recently and they are improving. He sees we are on the decline and our coaches suck. If the jets are interested he is out.

 If he prefers Jets over Seahawks , then he's tripping

With the money that we free up by not resigning him, we could go sign Tavaris Jackson. :stirthepot:

2nd rounder and Kearse for Sheldon that equaled no playoffs and a 3rd round comp pick?

Kearse as going to be cut anyway, and we had a massive hole at the DT slot. The Hawks filled that hole by getting the best DT available. They will get a 3rd round pick out of it. I still think it was a great trade.

Agreed. This was a good trade that, unfortunately, did not work out. It's not John's fault that this guy has run hot and cold. He has looked dominant at times. Others, he just disappears. Which is exactly what Jarran Reed and Frank Clark do as well. Seems to be the personality of the D-line in general.

Except for Bennett, who has just been MIA all season :(

So much hinges on Mcdowells future as far as resigning Sheldon goes. I like the idea of a franchise tag in this situation.

I heard a couple times from HB that Sheldon mentioned on the radio there isn't much to do in Seattle. I think he misses that about NY.
