His Milf money was more than that contract. Watch us rip a hole in the NFL because of it.

QB's that had rough rookie seasons.

John Elway
Peyton Manning
Troy Aikman
Dak Prescott
Brett Favre
Terry Bradshaw
Steve Young

Actually most rookie QB's struggle out the gate, when they do excell early they usually have a solid team in place to help carry them.
I feel really good about our QB situation right now. I would not trade Milroe for Bryce Young.
One of those things are not like the other. Everyone on that list is a HOF'er except for Dak "Overpaid" Prescott.

But yeah...they had rough rookie seasons naturally.

You know who else had a rough rookie, Sophomore, and Junior season? Our current QB.

If there is anyone that Milroe can talk to who knows the true UPs and Downs of being an NFL QB that's new to the league, it's him.

I hope Jalen soaks every bit of knowledge from him and Lock in that QB room.

I do because that means he's better than Darnold
If he winds up starting, that means two things :

1.) Darnold bombed horribly or got hurt, and then Drew Lock played horribly or got hurt.

or

2.) Milroe blows both Darnold and Lock out of the water in Training Camp

Sorry but #1 is far more likely going to be the reason than #2.

Hopefully we have a new and improved O Line that will change the prospects in our favor and in favor for all our QB candidates.

QB1 by ‘27.

Book it.

The first line made me say "I hope not."

Man, I really hope the Seahawks have an option much better than Taysom Hill Lite With More Interceptions, which is Milroe's ceiling, for QB1 in two years.

Then I saw the last line. OK, your reference to our old friend Fade's ridiculous takes, which sometimes ended with him saying "book it," tells me you're joking. Whew!

Fortunately you stating what his ceiling is does not make it a fact.

Book it is a phrase with sentimental value on .net.

But, no…I’m serious. Milroe has as good a chance to become a star in the NFL as any of the QBs drafted this year.

He has all the tools…and although his physical traits are what’s advertised, he’s intelligent as well.

Two years to develop. The things he lacks other than NFL experience can be taught.

I've watched a number of his interviews on YouTube (dating back to Alabama), and he's one of the most impressive interviewees I've ever seen. He's smart, insightful, humble, not cliche, etc.

Darnold belongs on that list too.

Funny how people know what his ceiling is without him ever putting NFL pads on. The Seahawks are doing it the right way, something very few teams do anymore. We have two guys ahead of him to learn from and play while he sits. Zero pressure to get onto the field unless both QB's go down with injuries which is possible, but not likely. He has the tools you can't teach. The ones he needs to work on are teachable just like Josh Allen coming out of college. Let him sit for two years and learn and develop then reassess at that point.
