Bullies, no, instigators at times yes, Bully is typically someone that takes advantage of physical size and or strength to intimidate someone weaker and unable or unwilling or afraid to defend themselves or leads a group to do it.

2012 49ers offensive line were true bullies of the NFL. This season they were more average, thankfully.

On this team, I would say Big Red 79 he manhandles linemen with brute strength lol. But off the field he seems like a real nice/fun guy

We are not bullies in the bad sense, we are just "Bigger, Stronger, Faster"!

Not to mention a sniper or two on the perimeter that will "pick you off".

this team is uniquely talented. No other team in the league can match physically, period.

-quarterback can run/juke/stiff arm like a running back, yet make all the difficult throws
-running back literally running over a high level defensive tackle in Darnell Dockett, yet that same running back makes open field moves that look like Lesean Mccoy
-strong safety plays like an edge setting linebacker: takes on an offensive tackle, Eric Winston, knocks him on his ass and yet still has the balance and body control to redirect and make the tackle on a ball carrier immediately after. Also above average in coverage
-middle linebacker runs a 4.4 and can really hit. in addition, he has the instincts and recognition to shut down the NFL's best screen game almost single handedly
-free safety may be the fastest at the position, dont even get me started on his instincts/reaction speed
-cornerback can make all pro receivers simply disappear
-more pass rushers than they can use (havent seen much from Irvin and Schofield, maybe Mayowa can pass rush as well?)

teams in the NFL would be ecstatic to have anyone of these players, theyre the type you build the rest of your team around, yet this team is stacked with them, none of them being high draft/overly expensive. the only area where this team is "average" is i would say the o-line, but watching the game again, Bowie looks like a bright spot

Seattle is the bully. Nobody pushes them around and nobody has since 2011 and that was in week 2.

This group is so physical and dominant when hungry that you can feel the energy in the seats.

A few teams have beat the Hawks on the scoreboard, but no one bullies them on the field. The Niners hate this fact. The Hawks are the one team that they can't push around and it frustrates them. Especially here in Seattle.

Bully is a very popular buzz word now that people hate.
what better word to vilify this team in the national media.
