It's all about player development and opportunity for our 2nd and 3rd sting players. For me our most underrated backup player is Byron Maxwell, he has gotten a lot of playing time this year, much more than Jeremy Lane. When we are in the nickel defense and Browner is out, it Maxwell that is getting his reps (with WT3 covering the slot & with lane holding his helmet on the sideline). Maxwell fits perfectly for our man-press scheme, he is big, stocky CB at 6-1 207 lbs, good in run support, and he has good ball skills. Unfortunately I think Browner is going to sign elsewhere (Jaguars) for a much better contract than what the Seahawks will be able to offer. WT3 I doubt will return as well.

I think I'd rather see Tate stick to kickoffs and just use Harvin on the offense, last thing we need is for him to get banged up again returning a kick.

I was thinking the same thing today. Tate has been doing a great job on returns why mess with it but putting Harvin in there especially since he's been out so long.
Tate does punt returns. Percy would handle kickoffs.
Hope they wait till after the bye to make that change.
