I have no doubt Harvin wants to get onto the field as soon as possible. I think Carroll will have a hard time sitting him, even if the coach wants it that way.

Per league rules, the Seahawks now have 21 days to get him back on the active roster, so the clock's ticking in earnest now. Week 10 at the latest.
